Perfect for making custom knives

I looked and looked and looked over the Amazon reviews to see if this tool would scratch up a knife surface sufficiently to allow epoxy to bond to it. Finally I found an answer. Yes. This makes a beautiful pattern, all jig-jagged, it could only be beautiful to a knife maker. Its beautiful because you can rest assured your epoxy will stick to it.

Ground out broken drill bit and broken easy out.

Grinds good. Was able to grind out broken drill bit and broken easy out on crankshaft bolt.

Challenging to steadily use then broke

It cut great when it would cut. It would be cutting fine then the vibration would get so bad that I couldn't control the tool and would have to shut it down. Bit was tight and I varied the speed to try and solve the issue. I was using it on annealed high carbon steel for relevance. Steel I easily cut with a file and cold Chisel after the bit broke. Great idea for a bit and I wanted it to work in the worst way as it would save me tons of needle file work, but dont know that I'll gambe 10 bucks on it again.

very good quailty

i am really impressed by the product quality. Outstanding performance during heavy grinding test i realized just after receiving the product. No bending, no sparks, not even loosing sharpness. I tested the bit grinding mild steel at about 25.000 rpm with a dremel 4000.

Works really well.

Great for cutting/grinding/fitting small spaces, precision jobs. I use it to fit tsuba (hand guards) on my japanese swords.

Good for cutting

I snapped a transmission pan bolt. Tried to drill a hole but didn't work. Tried a couple of heavy duty bits but no go... Finally tried this bit + dremel and it ate the snapped bolt for breakfast. Rethreaded the hole and issue was solved.

Used as a burnisher for scraper

Using the stem only to raise the burr on woodturning scraper. Works number one.

High quality but..

Good bit for metal cuts. High speed rotary tools tend to jump and these will break easily. Might want to get 2 if doing free hand work so you're not stopped part way through a task.
