Great scent and all day protection

I've already used Dove antiperspirants before than they're great, no question about that. What I was really not sure was this new 'Cedarwood +Tonka Beans' scent. However after using this stick for over a week which included activities like playing sports, jogging etc, I am very happy with both the scent and performance of these deodorant sticks SCENT - The most interesting aspect of these sticks is the new Cedarwood +Tonka Beans scent. It is a combination that I wasnt really sure if they would work well together - However, as surprising as it is, the combination actually works and smells great and the reason for that is that they've got the proportions right - The predominant scent is they beautiful earthly scent of Cedarwood with a slight undertone of almond-vanilla like scent of tonka beans - The resulting scent is a soft mellow musk like scent which works very well without being overpowering USING IT / PERFORMANCE - These antiperspirant sticks advertise that they have a plant based moisturizer in it as well ( I mean it wouldnt be a Dove if it didnt have moisturizer in it!) - You can really feel the softness and smoothness of the moisturizer work when you apply it, especially when I compare it to my Degree stick ..the stuff really works and glides against your skin smoothly - Provides good all day protection against under arm wetness and odors DISLIKES - None really but I would like to say that even though it says 48hrs protection , its really good for a day .. but thats the case with most other deodorants that I've tried as well so I am not deducting any points for that FINAL THOUGHTS This is a home run as far as I'm concerned I has a very unique and earthly scent that really works well, provide all day sweat protection and best of all it really feels smooth and good to apply due to its moisturizer. 5 Stars

Doesnt smell the same

I still had the store bought one when i bought these. When i smelled this one, it smelled more like SECRET than the actual scent when compared.

Worked great and smells nice

I really liked the smell of these deodorants. The Cedarwood was nice and not too strong and overpowering. They provided long lasting smell I remember smelling it throughout the day. It also was great for sweating and smells associated with that. Easy to use and a nice size container.

Got these for my boyfriend, he likes the smell and it seems to work for him.

Dove deodorant is something I consistently think of as a good product. I've used the classic cucumber deodorant pretty much since middle school. I got this set for my boyfriend and he seems to like the scent. It isn't too overpowering and seems to provide pretty long-lasting protection as far as the antiperspirant function goes. The smell is pretty much cedar centered. It's not like the other lighter dove scents, but this is a men's line of products. I would not say it has 48-hour protection though. Maybe 24, tops. I would actually go on to say that NO deodorant would have 24-hour protection. I mean come on, are you not showering for 2 days? Take that into consideration when purchasing.

Generous expiration date & a few things I did not know...

TIL (Today I Learned) -that Dove deodorant/antiperspirant is made in the USA -that Dove is PETA certified -that Tonka is a bean & not just a truck -that I have no idea what a Tonka bean is -that Cedarwood + Tonka beans smell amazing -that this scent is gender neutral (I'm a female who prefers men's antiperspirants) -that this formula kept me dry & odorless for approx 12-14 hrs -that I will likely never get to test out their claim of dryness for 48hrs because I take a shower twice a day -that this antiperspirant feels so soft when applied -that applying antiperspirant can be enjoyable because of that softness -that by comparison, the brand I was using feels like I was scraping a rock on my pits -that this stuff is kinda pricey -that I'm willing to pay that much for an antiperspirant -that this lot doesn't expire until 01/2025 -that I have plenty of time to use all 4 of them before they expire (no waste!) -that this list is far longer than I expected it to be -that espousing the virtues of an antiperspirant to this extent has helped me to understand why I've been told that I'm no fun at parties. If you have time & need proof, pls check out pic attached of expiration date. I hope my humble opinion & newfound education of antiperspirant helps you in some way. Thank you for reading.

Great Travel Size

The thing I love about this product the most is the size. It comes in a size smaller than the normal deodorant stick, perfect for throwing into your travel toiletry bag to save space! I travel quite a bit for work and this is perfect for on the go use. The scent is a bit unusual for me as I expected Dove scents to be a bit more natural and less cologney. This almost reminds me of a scent that Axe would make and that is enough to turn me off from the product if I find it too offensive over time. For now, it does the job and goes on smooth! I do also wish it came in gel form to reduce the potential of clothing stains.

If you are a heavy sweater, this is a good antiperspirant for you

If you sweat a lot, this is a good antiperspirant for you. It helps reduce the unwanted sweat. The scent, well, that's a personal preference. I found this one to be just ok. It's an oaky scent, as is expected. If you want fresh but also a manly scent, this would be a good compromise. Shelf life for these is 2 years, so if you get a 4 pack, just keep that in mind.
