Good for the money, but don't expect it to stop everything.

Protects well but is smaller than it appears. More suited for sparing than anything. Absorbs a majority of punches, but heavyweights will start knocking the wind out of you after two or three full power shots. I removed two stars because the should belt system sucks. The metal rings tend to turn and the strap twists. It's also fairly short so it's not uncommon to catch a punch off the pad.

Image not the same as product received

I bought this product because the picture is identical to what we use at the dojo, but the product i received does not have the D.A.T. logo (Dome Air Technology)I received the regular combat which sells for a less than what I paid for.

Great body protector...

Awesome body protector. I spar n train with guys a lot heavier than me and it really helps to not get my ribs messed up.
