very good basket muzzle

this is a very well constructed muzzle. the openness of the wire makes it less "scary" or uncomfortable for the dog, as well as for those around us. comparable or better than muzzles that are substantially more expensive. what sets this muzzle apart is the ability to adjust the side straps. this results in a much better and more secure fit all around. I got the D3 for my long-and-lean german shepherd dog. He's been hard to fit on something that's long enough, but neither too narrow nor too wide. this is the goldilocks muzzle, and the side straps make it work even better.

Runs small

The muzzle itself seemed fine. It's just too small. It says it's for an extra large doberman and it did fit my male dobe but he could barely open his mouth, much less pant.

Great choice for durability and comfort

This muzzle was purchased to keep our Doberman from eating his bed. It fits well and stays put. He appears comfortable when wearing it and the leather straps are soft and easy to adjust. We had used a plastic muzzle previously and he chewed it up from the inside out!

to restrictive for dog

IT IS JUST TOO EXTREME COMPARED TO A VELCRO AND CLOTH MUSSLE FOR A DOG THAT DOES NOT ACTUALLY ATTACK AND ONLY NIPS IN THE HOUSE. MY WIFE TOOK ONE LOOK AT IT AND SAID NO WAY YOUR GOING TO MAKE HIM WEAR THAT
