High quality product

This shelf paper is very well made and of the highest quality material. Believe it, or not, I was surprised to discover that it's made in Germany. I used this product to cover approximately 45 shelves and drawers in various sized kitchen cabinets and the process was easy.

Turned my crappy ikea table top into something beautiful

I had a pretty basic white ikea table that my kids absolutely destroyed! I wanted something simple and clean to just cover their destruction, because there is no way in earth I’m buying any nice furniture any time soon! It was tedious to get the paper on the table, I really wish there was an option to just get one long, extremely wide roll because matching up two halves down the center of the table was a nightmare! There were lots of bubbles and the adhesion isn’t very forgiving but… after about a week, the paper settled on the table and the bubbles disappeared. So far, it’s standing up pretty well to my kids. And the wood look is really beautiful. They’re picking at the corners and there are a few pencil marks here and there but honestly, it’s fine. It’s just fine.

Looks great - be patient during install

This covered worn cabinet shelves very well. It does take some precision and patience to get it installed. Cut the piece a bit larger than you need, line up the front edge and one side edge and slowly work to the back of the cabinet. Push out air bubble with your hands as you go; pull back the paper backing as you go. Once it is flat and stuck you can trim the sides and end with a razor. Pull the excess off carefully and pull slowly to avoid damaging existing finishes. This does stick to itself and can tear easily. Buy more than you think you need as there is a bit of waste and mistakes do happen.

Good easy solution

I am a woodworker and built my kitchen cabinet myself recently. For some of inner drawers that barely anyone would see, I used this film to cover the front (rather than making more drawer fronts out of plywood/wood). Here's the pro and con for this film. Pro: 1. Super easy to use... If you're careful, you can avoid 100% of the bubble.. since it's removable, you can peel off and re-do; which I did whenever I discovered bubbles. 2. Actually looks like real wood and pretty good, even at a close distance Con: 1. Very thin. If the underlying surface is not perfectly flat, it will show... example would be if there's a little tiny 1mm nailhead, you will see it protruding... so make sure your surface is perfectly flat or willing to accept some imperfection Caution: 1. Use very sharp razor / knife to cut.. if you do, the result will be awesome. You want to cut it cleanly because the material is stretchy, it'll distort if you don't cut cleaning and then pull on the waste piece. Overall, it is a good product and very reasonably priced.

Just as advertised

We purchased this contact paper to cover my husband's new desk, so it could match the wood tones of the rest of the room's furniture. I highly recommend watching videos about the application process as there is a bit of a learning curve/trail and error process. We learned it was best to apply the contact paper from L to R or vice versa rather than front to back of your surface, which makes more air bubbles. The maple wood print is clear and very convincing from afar. Up close, you can see the seam for the paper, but we anticipated this. I would recommend buying the d-c-fix applicator kit to assist with placement and getting rid of air bubbles as you apply.

Awesome match!

Covered up my problem spot from a spill from some cleaner I had that messed up the wood in my cabinet. Would recommend a smoothing tool applicator to smooth out bubbles. Install was easy.

PRODUIT ESTHÉTIQUE ET TRÈS COLLANT

J'avais besoin d'un produit quelconque pour faire un faux décor de studio-maison et pour s'y faire, la solution la moins dispendieuse était le vinyle. Toutefois, il n'est pas facile d'installer ce produit à cause des nombreuses bulles d'air envahissantes durant le collage. Deux trucs: enlevez les bulles avec une raclette, et les plus résistantes, les crevez avec un exacto après avoir perdu patience. Ce produit a collé sur ma filière dont la surface était très lustrée, c'est donc un produit hautement collant que je recommande sans hésitation.
