Pricey for a little bit of powder

As someone who is still struggling with hair re-growth after chemo 4 yrs ago, I bought this to help fill on the "gaps" on my scalp. It does help, however I disliked the fact that the dark brown powder seems to have a reddish tint to it. So on my scalp, its not quite a match. That bring said, I did order another one bc on days where I get frustrated with my thin hair, it does help. I only recently found out that they sell refills so u don't have to buy the whole brush again. The formula does seem to thicken my hair as well, just be aware that it acts like a hairspray/gel also so ur hair gets on the stiff side. Wished there was a larger size so it didn't disappear so fast..

100% happy

I’m so happy with this stuff. It really works well. I tried 3 brands of the hair fibers including the expensive one that begins with “T”. I usually have to wipe up the dust from the floor and countertop, and use hairspray after fiddling with the distribution. This stuff went on exactly where I put it, covered the pink scalp and didn’t leave dust everywhere. I’m now confident enough to not wear a topper. I was not sent this product to review, I’m a real consumer.

Great product but...application method: Not So Much!

The color fibers are just fine (I have White) but as of tonight I have to give the applicator a FAIL rating. I've only used it 3-4 times and now the powder is stuck plugged up in the base of the brush. Bummer!

The color gets clogged too easy at the base of the brush. I love the concept but it just didnt work well.

This is SO easy to apply

I am a 46 yr old woman who has hereditary thinning hair. I discovered "cover your gray" hair powder about a year ago. My only problem with that brand is that it takes so long to apply. Enter Color & Lift! This is SO easy to apply!! It takes about a minute to cover my entire head. I have naturally dark brown hair, so I use the black powder as it looks more natural at the roots. This powder colors my scalp, so I don't have that awful halo-scalp, and it also poofs my hair up. No need for teasing/back combing. My only gripe about this powder vs Cover Your Gray is that this powder makes my hair feel extremely dry (to the point of not getting a comb through it) and the color ends up on my combs, fingers, face and pillow. It does NOT RUN, though! I live in the deep south and this powder does not run with sweat. It just stays wear it touches. It all washes out in the shower with ease. My favorite is still Cover Your Gray, but I do like Color & Lift for fast application. I will probably keep both in my arsenal.

No More Pink

I read about this and had to give it a try. I was using rice powder to cover my pink scalp, but it faded and ran out of my hair in the rain. I let my hair go completely grey during Covid and loved the look, except my pink scalp looked so tacky. I used this immediately upon receipt, and with the help of a YouTube video for technique, I created a style that shows the world my beautiful grey hair without the pink skull distraction.

It's fillng in color where I needed!

It's doing what I want, filled in color and makes my hair looks thicker, specially when I pulled my hair back. Love it!
