Uncomfortable, needs socks

I tried several shoes and several sizes of these shoes, and my dog hated them until I also bought socks to wear with them. Now he is happily wearing the shoes. These are the favorite of the shoes I tried in that time. They are sturdier, offer some water resistance, and stay on well. We are slowly breaking them in before our big hike, but have experienced no sores so far. 4/5 stars because they were unusable for my dog without also buying socks. We got ruffwear socks, but I have seen people also use toddler socks (typically cheaper than dog specific socks).

Good Product but Wrong Size

I ordered the Medium, but received an item that by its measurements is a Large. Obviously my dog couldn't walk in them and so I returned it. However, other than the wrong size, the product seemed good. Very durable.

Not for every leg length

I hated to return these. The product is extremely well made and perfect for paw protection in the winter. For my Corgi, there simply was not enough leg to pull the shoes on. He did not shirk at the attempt, but the size appropriate for his paw diameter made the shoe travel half way up his leg. A shame --- but just not right for this breed.

Difficult to get on

These seem like good quality boots but I find them very difficult to put on. It's hard to get her feet in all the way while not catching the du claw on the edge of the boot. Not much room in the top of the boot to try to hold down the du claw while pulling the boot up. Potential for ripping the du claw ????. Wish these has a zipper or something to make them easier to put on.

Size down if you're at all unsure

Seems to be of high quality. Fit and finish is good and seems to be durable (doesn't feel cheap or flimsy). They were to big for my dog though, so will have to return and try a smaller size.

Too long/tall for my dog but Durable and well constructed

I got them for my dog to wear on long, multi-day hiking trips, and to only wear on his front paws. Unfortunately, the top/cuff of the shoe came up over the wrist of my dog on his front legs. This meant that as he would walk in them the flexing/bending of that joint would push the shoes down and they would quickly start flopping around. Returned them and got some other nice shoes that were shorter and 1/2 the price. Nice sturdy dog shoes, a little expensive, but they were just too long/tall for my dog.

Fantastic boots! + some tips

The media could not be loaded. OVERALL: First, I have to say that these doggy boots are amazingly high quality. They sure are heavy duty. My girl walked in water, mud, dry spiky bushes, and the boots still look as if I just took them out of the box. Paws stayed dry. CUSTOMER SERVICE : Kurgo's customer service is superb. Because of sizing issues, they sent me size extra small for the rear paws at NO EXTRA CHARGE. I was truly shocked and just loved how much they cared for my girl's comfort! TIPS AND WARNINGS: Okay, I know a lot of people buy dog boots to help protect the paws. This is exactly what they're for. However, you need to know, just like with our own shoes, that dogs need to break theirs in as well. There's no way around it. You might notice little sores developing by their dew claws, but DON'T PANIC. People seriously exaggerate when they say boots hurt their dogs. We suffer from blisters too when jumping into new Vans and trying to skate in them right away. Again, be patient. Make sure you start with short walks first, and keep doing that until boots become softer. Don't take your dog out on a hike right away because that's just irresponsible. Help them get used to the booties. It'll be okay! Also, SIZING is quite an issue. I first ordered size medium because my husky mix has a paw width of 2.6. Size medium was WAY OFF. She kept tripping, and the boots looked very creased, like there was just too much room around toes. I took the leap of faith and exchanged to size small, and they fit like a glove. When between sizes, go for the smaller size, trust me. SCORE: So far, for me, it's a 10/10. Dry paws, comfort, great design, and durability. I'll definitely post an update later.

Looks so much more comfortable than other boots

Our dog has two toes missing on one of his front paws and until recently, we'd been using a Mikki-style boot to cover it for protection. We decided to try these instead after the bottom of those wore out after very few walks. We only needed one, but this means we have three spares! They're easier to put on, even though our dog has massive feet (we think he's a large sheprador). Because the shoes follow the shape of the foot, there's less leeway to go wrong putting it on. With the Mikki-style, it could be difficult to work out whether his feet were at the base or not. These are also easier to tighten, as they don't go as far up the leg. At first we thought this would mean they slipped off really easily, but that hasn't been the case – they've stayed firmly on his foot no matter how many bushes he's decided to jump in. The quality is good, and from the looks of the sole, we should get a lot of mileage out of these. The soles aren't too stiff either, but it helps that he's a large dog with a decent amount of weight behind him to be able to bend them. Definitely recommended!

Not right for my dog

Bought these for my dog who suffers allergies and can't go out for walks without protection. They look good and are really sturdy soni was excited I finally found something good But unfortunately they just keep falling off I measured perfectly but they just seem to roomy and fall off when he's out I'm really gutted because they look and feel so good and sturdy They are a little heavy and think my dog found it hard to walk in as a little heavyweight could do with being a little lighter . Couldn't return as he unfortunately got some blood on then from his sore feet from a bit of rubbing so had to keep

Good shoes

good quality shoes. My Doberman has larger front legs than hind legs, so we bought him large ones for the front legs and medium ones for the hind legs. comfortable shoes with good fastening. the dog does not lose shoes while running.

Für uns die Besten!

Auch wenn diese Schuhe nicht gänzlich wasserdicht sind, hatten wir bisher keinen besseren Hundeschuhe. Sie halten perfekt an der Pfote des Hundes und müssen schon stark beansprucht werden um verloren zu gehen. Das Anziehen ist kinderleicht und ich finde es auch sehr praktisch das nur eine Klettverschluss-Schnalle am Schuh ist. Die meisten Schuhe haben zwei Schnallen und das ist bei vier Schuhen schon sehr nervig. :/ Weiterhin schön ist, dass die Schuhe etwas höher laufen als der Standard und somit für besseren Halt sorgen. :) Ich finde es schade, dass es keine Farbauswahl gibt. Vielleicht würde man, mit einer weniger auffälligen Farbe, weniger oft angequatscht werden, warum der Hund denn Schuhe trage. ^^ Mein Hund scheint auch sehr leichtfüßig mit den Schuhen unterwegs zu sein. Da ich sehr zufrieden bin, habe ich die Schuhe auch schon ein zweites Mal gekauft. :) Ich habe einen Labrador und wir benutzen die Größe L. Die Maßtabelle ist bei der Auswahl sehr hilfreich und somit passen die Schuhe perfekt. Lieben Dank an den Verkäufer für dieses tolle Produkt.

Toller Schuh

Diese Schuhe gefallen mir sehr gut. Sie sind ein wenig eng im Einstieg, ich ziehe sie meinem Hund im Liegen an. Tragekomfort scheint prima zu sein. Der Hund zeigt mit keiner Reaktion, das er sie als störend empfindet. Ich bin gespannt, wie lange sie tatsächlich halten, da sie jeden Tag getragen werden.
