Tight compression shorts

“Champion Men's Total Support Pouch Compression Shorts, Sport Shorts for Men, Wicking, 6" & 9"“ These compression shorts definitely compress. I am a former Olympic athlete, and I’ve worn many different compression shorts before. These compression shorts may be among the tightest. Perhaps their sizing chart is off. I’m a 6‘3“ 250 pound weight lifter, and I normally wear size XL bottoms (38” waist). According to their sizing chart, a size XL is supposed to fit a 40 to 42 inch waist. These compression shorts in size XL are very tight on my 38 inch waist. I suggest ordering up one size from what you normally wear. Otherwise, they are very well stitched, and they’re made of an excellent stretchy material. It’s just unfortunate that their sizing chart is off.

Size up

I ordered from the size chart but was a bit on the tight side, even for a compression short. So if in doubt, I'd recommend sizing up. The fabric is soft and it has a good stretch to it (so they do work, just a bit tight) and wicks the moisture as promised. The waistband tends to roll whenever doing ab work or bending which also was a surprise from this brand. Like them but not in love with them.

Nice compression shorts. Order a size up from the Champion size chart

These are great compression shorts. Very comfortable and supportive in all the right places. My only advice is to order 1 size up from the posted Champion sizing chart. I'm a 34" waist and according to the chart should have ordered a size medium but I've always worn a size Large short regardless of brand. I'm glad I stuck with my gut and ordered the Large. They are still plenty snug on me and I'm sure a medium would've been way too tight to be comfortable.

Softly Cradles that which Dangles...

I would shop around as there are some deals to be hand in the dangle cradling crevices of the clothing world. This one is just fine - I did NOT get the LONG almost to the knee variety as those are annoying to me. I went with the shorter ones and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. We shall see how long these last...

Tight compression

These are very comfortable when you fit it on properly. I do like having these for bike riding and certain types of sports. However, if you want to have a looser fit, i suggest going up one size. The pouch in front is also smaller than one might expect so you do want to upgrade a size if you have larger than average sizes.

Good for bike riding

These fit well and according to size. They are tight (they are supposed to be) but not uncomfortably so. They really help with comfort and control of the man parts on long bicycle rides. Good alternative to a jock strap.

good fit

I ordered these shorts for my husband. They fit him well. I ordered a size Large. For reference, my husband usually wears a 34 waist and is typically size large in gym shorts. My husband said he would not wear these in public, but he wears them around the house to lounge in. They look and fit more like boxers than shorts you would wear in public.

Too small

I have a 30 inch waste so I ordered the small. They were small, very small,too damn small.
