good value

my first Breathable Stocking Foot Wader & i am happy with them. they are flexible & easy to walk/wade in. The sock feet area is made of neoprene I think, this makes putting on over my socks somewhat difficult as they cling to each other. ( maybe there is a trick i don't know here ) I have not brushed up against any rough limbs, rocks, or weeds yet to see if they are tear resistant yet. but all in all i do like the mobility of using Breathable Stocking Foot Wader and this brand was a good value.

Works really well

I really liked these waders. I thought at first my feet were getting wet but it turned out that they were just sweating. So, with that said make sure you have dry socks. They fit well, stocking feet didn’t bunch up in boots

Well made for the price

First thing I noticed about these waders is that the stockings are absolutly massive on these, I bought the size small and the stocking was super hard to fit in my size 11 boot. Also these waders don't have a belt but I ended up just adding my own. Compared to my Simms freestone waders I bought from Dicks sporting good last year, these waders hold up just as well, with just a few less features like the belt and well made straps. If you just want some waders to screw around these are recommended for the price. (Caddis: Comes with a repair kit - Simms: no repair kit) I use these waders out in the surf and on jetties in Rhode Island where conditions are not always hospitable, and their are a lot of rocks. After about 1 week of use in these harsh conditions and through 30mph winds these bad boys hold up nicely. Seem to be very hard to rip, even after rubbing against rocks constantly and stay water proof, also hold up in the ocean pretty well. Small problems like mentioned in other review, the stockings are pretty big, and fit over my boot pretty tight, I am a 6'2 male with sie 11 feet and got the small, pretty suprised with how large they made the stocking.

Good Stuff

I purchased these waders a few days before my first two fly fishing trips ever. I preferred the stocking foot option so that I could get a set of boots that were more versatile than the conventional lug bottom rubber boots that come on the complete wader sets. I am a short guy, stocky build, so the sizing is a bit awkward for me but that's no news, sizing sucks for me on everything. At 5'5 with a 34" waist and 30" inseam, the mediums are about 2-3 inches too long but fit well around the midsection. The neoprene booties are entirely too big though. I wear a size 9 wading boot and these waders said they fit up to a 10.5... Yeah, well, they can fit up to about a size 13. I also ordered a size small wader, but sent them back when the waist and butt was too tight and the booties were still 4 sizes too big... doesn't make any sense to me, and that's why I gave these waders 4 stars instead of 5. So other than the neoprene booties being ridiculously huge in proportion to the rest of the waders, these are really great. I have worn them both as chest waders, and rolled down with the belt holding them as hip waders as well. Because they are lightweight, you can hike around in them for a bit without overheating. I have done quite a few up and downstream hikes of a mile or two in 80 degree heat without getting hot. They are comfortable, the pockets are handy, the included wading belt is a must for safety, straps adjust easily and stay put, and the neutral color wears good with dirt/moss from the stream. Because they have neoprene booties, you will get a bit damp from the mid-calf down, but even after a few hours standing in the river up above my knees, I was still dry enough that a couple minutes sitting on the tailgate dried me off. Probably just condensation from my warm legs and the cold river/lake water. Overall, I definitely recommend them, and I have to a few fly fishing buddies. And for the price point, you can't beat these with any other wader I have seen... They're comparable to lightweight waders twice or three times the price! Buy them... now... And be happy.

Fishing Waders

Bought 2 waders (breathables and neoprene). I returned the neoprene and did not need it for my Alaska fishing trip. The breathables works fine and lightweight. Wore thermals and jeans underneath. The waders did it’s job and very lightweight! We caught 20 salmons that day and stayed dried all that time! Just make sure you get wader shoes 2 sizes bigger to accommodate the stocking feet and thick socks.

Not bad for the price but think twice!6

Initial Review upon wader receipt: I have owned Cabela's $100 breathable waders, Simms $400 waders and other name brands such as FrogTogg Canyon $79.. So ok at first look these waders fit like a garbage bag compared to the slimmer fit FrogTog waders but for a backup pair they may work ok. Also for an older rounded out fart like me , a little more room is probable better and there is a string stap inside the body of the wader which helps wrap it to your profile. The wader construction looks to be good quality with exception of the wader belt. I have been spoiled by better previous quality waders that have a nice belt loops on the wader for the belt to slip through. These waders not only don't have belt loops, the belt is very poor quality, cheapest I have ever seen. The worst part is the belt clip which is hard to release and looks like it will fall apart soon after a couple uses. This is a safety issue for me so I will probably use a belt off an older pair of waders I kept rather than this cheap unsafe belt. All in all I decided to give this wader a try on the river and will do a follow up review on the results. I am providing the initial wader review for those who may find this useful in their search for a good quality cost effective wader. For the price and my needs this is worth a try but had I known of the fit and belt quality , I would not have chosen this 2020 best wader listed option.

Great fit . Great Value

First of all I must say how pleased I am with the service I have received from Amazon regarding this purchase. I tried to buy a set of these waders whilst in Florida (Bass. Pro) and was frustrated by a lack of inventory in the store. So when I returned to the UK I tried to order by mail. Still no luck. Then I searched Amazon and found the exact waders in the exact size I wanted. The price was better than Bass Pro and delivery was very reasonable and extremely fast. They fit perfectly. I was pleased that a waist belt was included. As is a repair patch. I have yet to use them in the river but they appear to be well made and comfortable. I am 5'6" and rather a rather rotund 180 lb. So the medium stout are a great fit.

Best waders for this price

Very happy with these waders, fits perfect, nice and light and great for spring & summer fishing. The only thing is the booties are on the big size but they fit well in a pair of large boots that I ended up buying. I have been wearing them nearly everyday since I've gotten them and holding up very well. For the price I paid I don't think you can find a better wader, I also have a pair of neoprene but just too hot in summer, the caddis are perfect.

Good product

Love them. Great value. I have only worn them once winter steelhead fishing and they were great when we had to bushwack. My buddy that was wearing neoprenes and was sweating heavily. Which means you are going to be cold once you stop. Felt like i was just wearing pants and was just right. It was -15c. I am 5'8 and 200 lbs. I bought the medium stout and i still have lots of room wearing insulated pants and multiple layers. They may be too roomy come spring. Socks are BIG. Make sure you upsize your boots at least 1 size.

Just received will update again after use

Just recieved my order and must say they fit well and very comfortable. I'm 6ft 220 and I ordered xl. I will test them this evening and providr an update and then again in a month and see how they hold up. Seems to be a good quality build.
