Great value for the money!

Item came as described and works very well. It is difficult to shape as the other review said so I am glad I read that you need to wet it to shape it. It does pull apart a bit if you are not careful. Overall a good product with a great value for the amount you spend!

Cheap and smelly

This is super thin. The thinness did not make it necessarily easier to use. I've actually never seen a coir mat this thin. The main problem I'm having with it is the smell. It smells like a rubber tire. It has been outside for almost a week and it still stinks and is smelling up my entire outdoor patio. I will not ever purchase this again and do not recommend it.

As expected

The coco liner is as described … coco with rubber. It is sturdy enough to lay out my elevated beds. I will definitely order more once my husband builds me some more elevated beds.

Great for large planters/baskets!

Used for a very large planter on our porch. A bit challenging to layer and position; in retrospect, if it had been presoaked, it may have been easier to handle. Easily cut with scissors. Is holding up well. Will purchase more of these for other planters next year.

Worked great and looks good.

This product was perfect for the need - for a planter that is a trough, roughly 7 x 17 inches. The fiber was fairly thin, and wetting it make it easy to shape. (Thanks to other reviewers' tips!) I also cut off much of the bulk material at the corners (leaving overlap and extra as they suggest.) It looks beautiful. My only concern is it does have a notable smell (thus only 4 stars) My other coconut fiber planter does not, so hopefully this will fade over time. Note that water drains easily through the fiber, so be sure to use with plants that prefer well-drained soil.

Good product.

It was very easy to use. I did what the other buyers suggested a soaked it in water first which allowed you to lengthen and manipulate the product much easier. i will say it was a little short of the advertised length, but not so much that it made a difference. I would recommend this product and buy it again, if needed.

Just what I wanted

The seeds are thriving.

I needed these for three baskets I had because the basket liners were sold out. This roll was actually pretty easy to work with for me. You can cut it in any shape you prefer. I managed to get enough lining for 3 12 inch baskets. The seeds are thriving.

BOTTOM LINE IS LAYING ON THE BOTTOM

Product was the perfect size to line the bottom of our raised planter and lays on top of a row of 2x6 cedar boards with 1/2" drainage gaps. The product does what I had hoped with respect to drainage. The only down side is that the product has a strong somewhat unpleasant and strong odor. With the earth and cedar mulch in place over top, the smell is no longer present or an issue. Hope this helps.

Good Product and Good Value

Got lots of screen for the money, and it worked great for a screen to separate the bottom of my vivarium from the drainage layer.

Reclined my old window baskets...worked perfect!
