I do love these bags but they are pricey!

I don't know if you are able to find anything else out there that isn't so pricey & supposed to be good for our environment. I do find that I like these very much & if you seal them correctly & smooth out excess air, it keeps your items quite fresh!

Will be buying again

Love that these bags are disposable AND biodegradable. So much plastic waste in our world and buying these helps me and my family to reduce our plastic waste, treat the earth with respect and meet our needs. Now, with that said, the pros outweigh the cons. The only con that I can see is the “breathe-ability” for the lack of better adjectives. I found that bread can get hard in these bags. And that fruit flies are attracted to the internal contents they find desirable. For example. I put some fresh blueberries in these bags. They did not leak but fruit flies still landed on the bag. Knowing these things I just plan accordingly and use these bags as needed.

I really like these bags. they're a nice size, and i appreciate that they are a more ecofriendly option than most other plastic storage bags. they might be a little thinner i guess than a standard storage bag, but I feel like they do the job. I don't believe they are freezer safe? but they work great for anything you'd store in the fridge or would want to put in your lunch box.

Thick enough, sturdy enough for re-use

It is worth it to me to have biodegradable zipper-close bags. I am trying to reduce the amount of shorter-life plastics. These bags work very well. For the cost, I am reluctant to give them out with baked goods I give to others, because I know they will just toss them (but better than than plastic!).

Great bags. Work well and are better for the planet. These aren't zippered bags, so closing isn't quite as easy. Still, I'd rather use these than regular ones so that I don't feel guilty every time I throw one out. We feed our dog raw, so we cut up his meat and portion it into zippered baggies. That meant we were throwing out two plastic bags a day, everyday. There was no way we could reuse them or recycle them since they stored raw meat, so this alternative is great for our environmental foot print. My fiancé said that he really liked them because they feel really nice! Aside from that, they do their job, and didn't open when I did an upside down shake test after I had filled it. As long as you don't mind the extra few seconds to close it properly, these bags are great.

I love these - wish they all were compostable

It only makes sense to STOP producing things that just don't agree with composting back into the earth. Regular plastic zip locks are ruining the earth and sea life. These should be the standard and available everywhere
