Easy to use and a nice to have handcraft gadget
I love handcrafting but have never used a snap button pliers on my projects. When I came across the babyville snap buttons pliers at Amazon, I had a few concerns then: Would it be difficult to use? Would it require to a lot of strength to get it done? Could mistakes made be corrected etc.? Despite all these worries, I decided to give it a try and bought it, so that I could work on some new projects. After the purchase, I received the package in good condition and on time - thanks to Amazon. The instruction manual was a piece of paper in 3 languages and black and white pictures - it would be better if it is in color and in a cardboard instruction sheet. When I used it for my triangle pouch project [...], I found it surprisingly easy to use, and I did not need to "squeeze" with a lot of strength to get the snap button fixed. During the project, I did make a mistake by placing the snap button in the wrong direction. Gladly, removing it was also not that difficult - I held the pliers where the snap button was between the shank and die plate; slightly squeezed and pulled; the button would come off and the button could still be used. However, if squeezed too hard, the button will snap. Overall I find it easy to use, and a nice to have handcraft gadget in my collections

Easy to use & gets the job done
I bought these pliers to use with the corresponding Babyville snaps because it was a cheaper alternative to kam - especially since this isn't a project I'll be doing often. They did their job and were super easy to use. Yes, it takes a good squeeze of pressure to get the plastic in the correct shape so they "snap", but would you really trust the snaps to stay in place if you didn't have to apply much pressure? The package came with everything needed to get going (aside from the actual snaps) and they can accommodate a few different snap sizes.The default press was a size 20, which was the same size as the Babyville snaps I bought so I didn't even have to change anything out (but it does look easy to do). The only issue I ran into was the need to re-shape the snaps with the pliers after running my garments through the dryer (which is no fault of the pliers). Everything was tested & snapped after applying, but I wasn't able to snap about half of the snaps after washing/drying for the first time. Applying the pliers once more with a good amount of pressure molded the plastic snap back into shape and haven't had an issue since. These are definitely a good purchase as they are easy to use and get the job done without breaking the bank.

Excellent, beginner friendly
I have been using these with both the Babyville snaps and some other size 20 white plastic KAM snaps I found here on Amazon. They work very well. I looked at several different types of pliers and brands for attaching KAM snaps and these had mostly good reviews and looked easy to handle. I wanted them mostly for attaching the plastic snaps to baby bibs and these have worked out great for me. I had never used these kinds of snaps or plusers before purchasing these and found them easy enough to figure out. There’s videos on YouTube for these exact pliers if you’re nervous about figuring them out too. Overall I am happy with the purchase and they’ve worked great on baby bibs so far. I am attaching a photo of the pliers and the two types of snaps that I have used with them, as well as a couple of the bibs that I have attached them to, and close-up of the Babyville snaps. The pliers did come with the other pieces mentioned and pictured on Amazon, I just didn’t photograph them.

check your shank size
I bought these snaps at the local craft store and then realized I didn't have the pliers to apply. I came home and read the reviews that made me regret the purchase. Unfortulately, I didn't have time to return to store etc, so I ordered the pliers on amazon. Ordered with prime and Saturday shipping, came on time and well packaged. First few snaps and I almost ruined my project:-(, I then started youtubing instructions as project had to be done tonight. Found one very informative video from the KAM company showing the difference between shanks. Stated on the instructions shipped in packaging says already preloaded with the shank and die for size 20. Well when watching youtube video they showed how to pull off clear rubber and check shank size and lo and behold the larger shank was inappropriately loaded. Die size was 20 as stated in paper work but not the shank. Changed shank and immediately applied 5 snaps with no problems. 4 stars because product works well, but crappy instructions!!!! I very rarely write reviews, but thought this one might help someone out there.

A quality Product!
I bought this product for my wife, who does a lot of sewing and emboidery. From the start she was having trouble using the tool and the snaps and so she called the seller for guidance. The seller, a terrific lady, spent quite a bit of time with her, explaining how to use the tool effectively and, at the end of their conversation, she said she would send my wife a "gift." The gift turned out to be a new tool and bag of snaps, sent just to be sure the first tool was not defective. My wife was, of course, elated with the personal attention and the concern of the seller that she was completely satisfied. Me? I can only say, "Kudos to Dritz Babyville Boutique! My wife is happy and, thus, I'm happy! She is now, as I write this, in her sewing room, happily using her Babyville Boutique Snap Pliers. She loves them!

Watched the company's youtube video on how to use this and it is very easy and effective
I'm not crafty in the least. Needed something to securely hold crib rail covers on the crib rail as I don't trust Houdini Baby to keep the ties tied. Watched the company's youtube video on how to use this and it is very easy and effective! Basically, poke a hole, insert snap pieces, then squeeze with the pliers. Snaps hold on tight too and work really well for the crib rail covers. No sharp pieces once installed. Tried hard to take one off that I attached wrong and it would NOT come off, which made me more confident in how it'll hold up. Also used this to attach snaps to bibs that are wearing out of their velcro and now they're good as new. Glad I tried this!

Awesome and Cost Effective
Worked perfectly with no practise on scrap pieces necessary. Easy to use and at a great price (I can’t find it in stores around me at all and to order it in from anywhere else would have cost more).

Works great!
I bought this for a specific project and I have had no issues with broken snaps, etc. You have to make sure to use the right size tool and snap but it does not require a great deal of pressure. I’m already looking for other projects to use it on.

Très bonne qualité du produit
La seule chose qui pourrait être améliorée pour ce produit, serait de recouvrir les poignées de caoutchouc souple, puisque après plusieurs pressions…cela fait mal aux mains, mais rien a dire en ce qui concerne le fonctionnement, il fonctionne très bien.
