Does what it is supposed to do

Took the boat out last night and did not experience any more bog down while moving at WOT. Seems to have resolved the issue, although I did change my fuel tank connectors on the tank side and engine side and also added a water seperator. Boat is running great right now.

I won't flood my motor anymore when using and external tank! Seems not much competition in this market and good gas tanks are outlawed.

Very easy to install.....would be nice if the (2) hose clamps were included. Good price for the job it performs

Pathetic product ....Pathetic service

Bought a new boat that had one of these on it. The body of the valve broke during the first few months I owned the boat. I needed it quickly replaced so I ordered one and payed for it out of my pocket rather than go through a warranty claim. I recieved a new one that lasted a total of 2 months before it cracked the same way as the first one. This time I called the company and was given a run around and told that I installed it wrong. ...lol it has a fuel in and out line ....that's it. These are crappy plastic valves that crack constantly. I have now contacted Mercury and a fuel system manufacturer who is looking into a quality valve replacement. I found a way to make my own. Do noy waste your money on this trash.

Works as Intended

Fuel line had constant pressure from the fuel tank to the engine. With the addition of the fuel demand valve in the first 6" of fuel line from the tank, this is the only place where the fuel line is now under constant pressure.
