Blower

Works as it should

Plastic where hose mounts is thin.

This is my second one. First one cracked where you connect the hose. Can't take any type of real pressure. So don't tighten down a hose clamp to much. Didn't crack right away but did crack eventually. Thank goodness only the crack happened and didn't get water down in it. But the blower works like it should

hydro cooling fan

For whatever reason ,, on the John Deere 140 I bought at an auction someone cut the shaft off of the back of the hydro where the fan is supposed to mount . I used this fan to cool the hydro . We will see how it works out long term !

Original lasted a bit over 3 years before failing from moisture

I use this in a 16 tap keezer to move the cold air around keeping the kegs and tap lines equally cold. The fan assembly is pointed down as I need to draw cold air from the bottom of the keezer up, assisting with natural convection currents from the temperature differences. This has a brush motor that is insulated, but like wearable items the brushes are usually the first to go. The fan is operated by a DC motor controller that keeps the fan speed very slow compared to its full power. The fan is overly powerful for my application. Its environment is similar to what it was intended to be used for. The high moisture though eventually took its toll. Still a very well built product that would buy again.

Great product

I used this to replace the blower on my 20yr old inboard boat. Super easy to install and the drill holes on the blower were the same spacing as the original. I purchased some waterproof/solderless/heat shrink connectors from Amazon to connect the wires (I just cut the wires and spliced them). It took me 5 minutes to replace, and it’s nice and quiet with lots of power. I would highly recommend this product.

No complaints, does the job and seems as good as any.

Well Attwood products have been on boats as oem for easily 40 or so years, so it would go without saying this one is as good as any. Certainly they are not spectacular in any way but they do the job. The original one on the boat (also Attwood) lasted 16 years, hopefully this one will too (somehow I doubt it). Seems to do the job well enough. There are some complaints about noise, I am not at liberty to have an opinion due to lack of experience, but I can say it's a little quieter than the original on our boat. What I can say though, is that my Brother and I discussed the comments on noise and we personally prefer them loud so we can hear when we left it on!

Does a good job and arrived quickly

Powerful and quieter than original. Easy to mount. Would prefer if it could have some plug and play options to power it however easy enough to splice and move on.
