Would buy again
They are fairly quiet compared to some other brands not as quiet as some of the top brands like Sioux but it’s close. They fit in my hand nicely making it easy to move around in tight spots and the trigger allows for speed adjustment pretty easily. I’ve never had an issue with them bogging down while sanding with them on aluminum not sure how they will do with harder metals. I imagine they would do fine.

Great set
Ive only been using these afew days but so far they are great. I use them for metal work. They are quiet especially compared to my old harbor freight. Very light and feels good in hand. I have medium hands and they feel good. The burrs ground down corner welds with no effort and did not break any teeth. They are both very smooth and easily able to control speed by the lever. I wouldnt say the burrs are high quality but they are good more than enough for me and i beat my tools up. The only 2 cons so far and they are just minor things. 1st is that the “composite” is hard plastic. I dont know how tough they are against a fall yet. I prefer a metal casing but this way probably makes it more affordable and im fine with that. The 2nd this is that the color is ugly. its not a shiny light blue like in the picture. Its more of a dull dark blue which makes it look cheap. I would 100% recommend these. Well worth the money

Worked great. Feel nice in the hand.
I'm a professional mechanic and usually stick with known quality brands like Ingersoll Rand for pneumatic tools. Saw this set and for the price I was skeptical. I read the reviews and they seemed favorable so I decided to try them. I got them today...instlled air fittings on them and lubricated them with air tool oil. I had to grind something and was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. Saw one review that said "it would have been nice if they included flat wrenches to change burrs"....don't know about that because mine came with 2 flat wrenches. Maybe he mistakenly threw them out. These little die gringers ran smooth and were easy to manipulate. I'm very satisfied with my purchase. Time will tell if they'll hold up but if you lubricate them before each use I don't see why they wouldn't give years of reliable service.

Good quality at a reasonable price
I was concerned about the composite housings, but decided to try them anyway. It turns out the composite housings don't have any negatives. They do not get as cold as my metal ones. I have some Ingersol Rands, Cambells, and a couple other brands. These are as good as any of them and better than some. I was not expecting much from the carbide bits, I was just buying the die grinders, the bits were "free". The bits cut really well (maybe my old ones are dull).

Broken in box.
Would give higher score, they work as expected. But, the straight grinder front air cover came broken in the package. Doesn't seem to affect operation however.

Essential for metal working
These are 2 of the most used tools in my shop...I do metal work and constantly use them for grinding down welds and burrs to get a nice finished look. The rotary burr set is a must have! You'll never use stone grinding bits again. I have to admit that these are the only die grinders that I've ever used so I can't really offer a comparison to other brands, but I have put them through the paces and can recommend them highly. My only negative comment would be that when you do need to apply a lot of pressure while grinding the speed will slow down, which means you tend to squeze the trigger harder and then the speeds gets a bit hard to regulate altogether. Again, since I haven't used any other die grinder I don't know if this is common among all die grinders or if this is an area of improvement needed for the Astro Pneumatic brand. I have been using these for a while now and have learned just how much pressure is too much.

I had to grind some material off a spindle to mount a set of disc brakes. I bought this kit and when it got here I was a bit shocked at their size, smaller than I expected. I was concerned they wouldn’t be up to the task of grinding 45 year old metal.... boy did these surprise me the straight one is the one I used and it was more than up to the task. I used the included burrs and after the first one the cut quality was definitely down because it took longer on the second one. However the burr isn’t junk and I’m impressed that it didn’t degrade as badly as I would’ve guessed. I would at this point buy these again.

Bits work. Tools don't.
Straight air tool missing piece to seal it from spewing oil all over workpiece. Unusable in bodyshop. For some reason 90° tool also spits all the oil out then keeps getting seized. The only AP tools I've had issues with. All the bits work fine.
