works better than my old aroma

My old aroma worked for over ten years. I was sad that i had to replace it because the button broke. But this seems to hit boiling even faster than my old one. I drink lots of tea so I use this alot. So far this is working great

It heats the water real hot

This is our second one. We had the other for 9 years before it failed. This one looks beefier than the old one

Glass kettles show stains

Unlike the out-the-box gorgeous glass kettles this no-brand will look sparkling for a least 3 years. The glass ones are ready for the exit door after 6 months due to the baked-in residue at the bottom of the pot. Unless you get pristine spring water go for an all steel kettle.

Perfect but no "Keep Warm" function as stated

Large, easy to clean, boils a full pot in 7-8 minutes. Seems like good quality. But I hoped it would have a keep warm setting and it does not. Must "re-boil" to make my second cup of tea.

Working for my needs so far

Had this since July, 2022 and use it almost daily. So far no rusting, odd smells, malfunctions. These don't last more than a year or two if lucky. My household has gone through dozens of electric water boilers, from Japanese/Korean brands and name brands and not so name brands.
