Does the job!

I like the kettle. I had to just boil the water in it a few times just to make sure I wouldn't get a metallic taste tea (according to other people's reviews they had that with the stainless steel kettles), so it worked. Also, I had it for only 10 days and it's still alive (I will update on its life expectancy later or when it dies). It boils water quick and doesn't spill water when you pour it in your cup, so I'm satisfied with it so far... P.S Bought in September, so it's been 4 months and it starts rusting but still works.

This kettle heats water very quickly. The only downside is that it has developed a very annoying high-pitched noise while it heats up some of the time. It is not the steam whistling through the spout, it seems to be an electrical thing. Our kettle is still very new, so it was disheartening for this development to happen. Oh well, nothing is perfect.

A solid stainless steel kettle for a good price. I needed an additional electric kettle for my office, but didn't want to spend a lot on a brushed stainless steel kettle (like the one I have at home), and I'm not crazy about plastic kettles. This does what it's supposed to do--it boils water. And auto-shutoff is important for me, too--I forget about my kettle constantly--so that's a great safety/convenience feature too. I bought this over a year ago, and it's still going strong.

It looks good sitting on the counter

MUCH faster than waiting for a kettle to boil, and keeps water hotter for longer to boot. If you do leave it sitting too long, a quick flip of the switch will have your water hot again shortly. It looks good sitting on the counter, too. My only wish is that it had a cover over the spout; seems like it may collect dust in the interior if it sits unused for too long.

heating up even without water inside

one major problem - if theres no water inside and u press the main button, it starts to heating up anyway. i did it for purpose to check whats gonn happen, but turned it off as soon as the bad smell appears. i expect this kettle to b more smart and won't try to commit suicide on itself when theres no water inside, but...

After 6 months, the inside is all rusted

I love a cup of tea, or being able to boil water pretty quickly for other things. So initially, I love this kettle. However, after about 6 months, I've noticed that it's a rusted inside. It doesn't seem unreasonable to me that a product that is supposed to work with WATER should be able to handle that and not rust.

Great product

Love tea, but never really got the knack of heating it in the microwave...(usually way too hot). This was the perfect answer. Heats up quickly (for a couple of cups probably 1.5 minutes).
