Gorgeous Numbers! Well Made, Easy to Mount, Solid, Sturdy

I am a huge fan of these numbers from Architectural Mailboxes. They are the highest quality that I have found and also reasonably priced. I originally purchased these to make myself a house number plaque. Since then, I have had numerous requests from friends and family. I now use them to make Christmas presents. Everyone I know loves the sleek, modern look of the numbers. They don't tarnish or rust. They also have the ability to be mounted flush or floating (most prefer floating). Please excuse the pictures. They are from the first one that I made for myself. I wanted to show a quick rundown of my process. First I found a few boards that I wanted to use (from a floating shelf kit I never hung). Since then, I purchase my boards at lowes, but you can literally use almost anything. Be Creative! I stained mine using Jacobean because it looked nice against my blue house. After they were stained, I played around with the configuration and stapled them together (from the back). These boards already had holes & came with the rope because they were a hanging shelf. You can drill holes and purchase rope or add a hanger on the back. I added the numbers last by cutting white paper the size of my boards. Then, I divided that into a graph to ensure equal placement (more important when using 3 or 4 numbers). I installed the floating screws on the numbers and pressed those into the paper to determine where I should drill my holes. Then you can throw out the paper, drill your holes, and mount the numbers. It is a relatively quick and simple project that adds curb appeal to your house. It's also a foolproof gift for homeowners. There is an unlimited number of possibilities to personalize them. My most recent ones have been done with paint sticks mounted on a single board. I have painted them beachy, or plain white depending on the recipient. While there are many different numbers out there for purchase, I always stick with Architectural Mailboxes. I have yet to find anything that rivals their quality and style. Good Luck & Have Fun!!

Beautiful Finish

The house numbers I ordered are just as expected, beautiful finish and can't wait to get them on my house. I'm attaching them to brick so waiting for my family to help. Not sure at this point how easy or hard they will be to install. Not sure how the finish will stand up to cold and snow. That's a question for another season.

These brushed gold numbers look so good on my dark green front door! A perfect updated touch to get my front entry to look a little more modern, but still classic. Since it's an aluminum door, I just glued a bunch of 1/2" round magnets to the inside back of the numbers using E6000 adhesive and stuck them on my door that way. They're not going anywhere, and my door escaped having 6 holes drilled in it! Just a note, the 3/4" magnets are too big to sit inside the rim. The 1/2" were perfect.

Nice Looking!

These digits look good, and have a good heft to them. They appear to be solid brass, as opposed to items that are just plated aluminum (or other metal). My only real "ding" on them is that the mounting screws/pegs are a bit long, and poked through the board I was using to mount these on; this in turn caused the board to push off the wall that the board was mounted on before I noticed what was happening.
