Good product

Only a couple things with this one. It wasn’t super easy to install and I think there are a few instructions that are complex and need clarification. If you’re not a handyman/woman, it might get tricky. But once you figure it out, it’s fine. The product looks great and it slick so it doesn’t take much space even while mounted. Comfortably takes two bikes and it’s very sturdy. Super easy to remove and out in the trunk of you car when not in use. I’d still recommend but have two people perhaps trying to mount it so it doesn’t irritate you much.

Unexpected value

For around $17, I wasn’t expecting much but I had read the reviews and thought why not? I was pleasantly surprised. My bike is totally secure on this rack and I’ve been driving around with it for several weeks with no issues. My bike is not always on the rack, but when it is, I know it’s secure, and will not cause any problems.

wrap the hooks

After 6 years, the bottom strap broke. It broke while my bike was on it and I was driving, and my bike and the rack were fine. Sadly, I cannot find a replacement for that strap so I had to buy another one. I never had a difficult time putting this on, besides the necessary adjustments to get it taut. Large hooks into top of trunk, smaller ones on the sides, and the middle one goes in the middle. Do the middle last as it's easy to cinch and loosen. It's intuitive. If you're struggling - you're thinking too hard! I've used this on my Civic Hatchback, a Rogue, and now my Civic sedan and I'm happy with it. Traveled highways, dirt roads, and storms and never had any issues. As for those hooks, it's why I gave 4 stars and not 5. They WILL damage your paint job. My solution was to carefully wrap them in duct tape. I also took that opportunity to use reflective tape since why not. Wrap them well, but not too thick or they won't fit right.

Decent made

Bike rack is made well, strap hooks don't have rubber on them, and it did dent the trunk of my civic. Aside from that good bike rack.

It works but…

It works but you need to pad it down where it touches your bike and your car. Kind of annoying. It will scratch everything if you don’t. Secure your bike and wheels correctly so they don’t touch your car.

Great for the price

Works as well as much more expensive bike racks. My only complaint is that the side clips constantly come detached, but they're really not necessary so it's not that big of a deal. Definitely a good deal for the price.

Costo beneficio

Este rack funciona bien, es decir, sí puedes llevar tus bicicletas... Sin embargo, pienso que el espacio está un poco justo para llevar ambas (tengo dos montaña de 26), si fuera una sola, está muy comoda. En general, funciona bien.
