small and accurate
I use this device during triage in my ER, I compared it to the oral devices we have mounted on the walls. I found the accuracy to be within .1 at the most. More often than not, they were identical. Very convenient for kids who do not yet grasp the under the tongue, and for the elderly that have may forgotten under the tongue, Biggest benefit are those that roll in via EMS and are not unresponsive. Speed wise... really a second, vs up to a minute or more via oral. Just wish that the clip connector was not on a lanyard, would be great to have it on my waist band or a scrub pocket

Very convenient
It seems hard to find a small, rechargeable thermometer for a somewhat decent price like this! It's so convenient in soo many ways. It's lightweight, easy to use, it has a battery level indicator on the screen when it's on, & with the help of the auto shut off feature it helps the battery in mine last at least a few months until I have to charge it again- even though I use it at least a few times a day. It's so awesome that I no longer have to stress out about if my batteries are dead or if I have extra batteries on me... Simply keep the charger in my bag, & if the battery dies- simply plug it in & charge it! The only negative for me is that the beep sound upon using it is a bit loud, & there's no mute button. So, for that reason I'd rate this 4.5/5. I like this so much though that I ordered a second one- so, I now have 2 of these just in case I happen to misplace one.

Really good but not durable
I wanted a thermometer that was small,light weight & can be carried easily. This fits the description except it’s not very durable, that black band often breaks and then the insides disconnect , then it doesn’t work. I wanted a thermometer that didn’t fall often , but this breaks easily just wear and tear even in just a few months.

Easy to work with.
I had one other but it broke. Amazin was cheaper for the same product at walmart, (when they even had one available). Used it recently daily when i had bronchitis and later a cat bite. Great price!

Great little thermometer… For even greater price!!
For the price, this is a very decent thermometer. Best way to acclimate and get comfortable using- is to try this on a few people a handful of times!! BUT.. listen to me when I say- try this when it arrives, before you ever need!! That way, you can eliminate added stress of learning to use at the worst time possible- When you or someone is ill! Sure! It’s not full proof… But, if you take the time to learn by taking same person‘s temperature x3-4 in a 10min period and do the same with another willing participant- you can get a good feel for it. This will become easy to use/read/navigate. Once you know the creature comfort’s… You should be able to get an accurate read the first time. Personally, I always double check any thermometer read- I will take a temperature, wait a few minutes and do it again as a rule of thumb- just for peace of mind!! ** Also, as a mom… I know when to go with my gut! It may sound crazy but it’s true. if, person feels feverish/warmer than their normal temp. Better to be safe than sorry and act on it. (I have a Dr. Dad from Stanford- with all his medical training, he advised me nothing is more certain than what you know to be true as a parent! If you think fever- you act.. and 9/10... you’re right!) I know- not all users are parents- sorry, bear with me!! So, how to practice/trouble shoot: You need- thermometer, 2+ willing participants- 1. person #1 gets temperature taken x3-4 within 10min. Time frame, and should produce the same or, slight .01 variation. The specifics of trial/error of where to place on temple will reveal themself. I call this spot the “sweet spot” on the temple..Think where you rub when tension headache happens- place and HOLD (no swipe!) till beep sounds.. A little practice and this will let you know how to work/how long to leave in place etc., and it will show you by results.. that it works, and with the repeated results, it will assure that it’s accurate read- 2. Person #2 you will do the same thing in between testing your first person.. why? Most likely.. neither of these 2 have the exact temp. as the other- therefore, giving you accuracy that it can read different people/temperatures and do so quite easily! Sorry- trying to be clear I may have made that more of a mess?!! Follow instructions, practice for ease of use when needed.. it works and if you do as it says, you shouldn’t be disappointed! ** I Purchased for $12.99- ive seen this fluctuate in cost- FYI, if purchasing keep an eye on price!!

Rapido e comodo
Legge velocemente la temperatura in più parti del corpo come fronte e polso. Non sempre precisissimo è però molto comodo in quanto misurandola in un minuto un paio di volte si ottiene bene o male sempre la stessa temperatura o comunque facendo una media delle misurazioni si ottiene quella corretta. Punto di forza di sicuro la velocità e il fatto di non dover star fermi immobili.

Poco preciso.
Ottimo prodotto per ergonomicità e fattezze, qualcosa di diverso dai soliti termometri, confrontato la temperatura rilevata con un altro termometro in vetro a colonnina,1 °C di differenza, facendo diverse prove il valore letto diminuisce. Se si potesse migliorare rendendolo preciso ed affidabile non sarebbe male.
