Pricey but worth it

I purchased this as a gift for the little girl I watch. She loves it!! The beakers and other mixing cups are all very well made, and fit into slots inside of the travel case very well. I highly recommend buying this.

Great gift!

We gave this to my daughter for her 5th birthday. She was SO excited and has played with it so much! It has a lot of sturdy accessories and very easy science experiments to try out. Great gift idea!

not what I expected

Got as a gift for 5 year old granddaughter, there is very little she can do by herself to keep her entertained, most projects have to be supervised

Bummer experiments

Experiments not well designed. Very vague and 2 out of 2 struck out not doing what was expected based on the picture on the experiment card. One is cornstarch and water, supposed to make a "quick sand" seemed like it made a milky substance. Wife suggested maybe we needed hot water - something not specified. Another was lava lamp. Says we need an antacid so I grabbed a tums (antacid). I'm guessing we needed Alka seltzer, but that was the last step and we didn't have any on hand. No experiment uses an eye dropper - something my daughter was excited to use. They say to use it for food coloring, but who has food coloring that isn't already in a dropper? The suitcase thing seems cool - only reason not giving this 1 star.

Very Disappointed

This was the biggest disappointment. My school age child was SO excited to have her own science lab, but all of the experiments were extremely disappointing. The "lava lamp" didn't do anything except make colored water and oil. The "make it rain" never rained. We waited for 20 minutes. The instructions were so vague. I feel like I would have been better off just using kitchen stuff we already had. I could cry this was so disappointing. Spare yourselves the sadness.

Terrific for young imagination fun!!

This was a birthday gift for my 6 yr old granddaughter. SHE LOVES IT!!! She immediately pulled the case around to an outside table and got out the scales, test tubes and accessories to begin her "experiments". Her older sister joined in and they were busy creating all sorts of "tests" and measurements. I highly recommend Just Play Ada!!
