Huge Success Solving Big Problem

My 90 year old Mom loves to color and was unable to move a TV tray to get up since she has back problems. She also has Alzheimers and things easily get confusing. With back problems it's challening for her to get up easily. I installed this amazing product in a few minutes and she was thrilled to be able to easily swing the tray in front of herself to color. When she was done, she pushed the tray out of her way and could use the handle to help herself up. It is a miraculous solution to a very challenging problem. It was super easy to put together and to install. I would love to have had a few more adjustments on the exact location but the leg of the chair fit in a funny way on the plate that stabilizes it. There is a flat part, then the place where the handle comes up and another flat part. If the flat part that slides under the chair was a little wider it would be perfect. Now it's almost ideal and still works because the tray is really maneuverable. It's not exactly level which makes me a bit wonky, yet works for reading the paper, playing with her games and coloring. I am so thrilled with this purchase and the quality of the product and would highly recommend it for the elderly who will easily be able to swing the table into the exact position to eat, sew, read or do a project. This version has a compartment tray attached for a few of her colored pencils, and a drink holder, although because it's not exactly level I might avoid the drink holder. She is thrilled and had not problem pulling and pushing it as it swings with the perfect resistance. My sister was so excited she said, I need one for me while I am on the couch doing crossword puzzles so my neck doesn't hurt with the book on my lap. Very high quality and a life saver for the elderly.

Wow! Best I've tried!!!!

This table is VERY well designed! The table top swivels from BOTH the upright and the connection under the table. This makes positioning it so easy & you have so many options. Most just swing in/out- limiting how close you can position it. And simple to assemble! Instructions were clear and easy but the design and already started screws made it a 15 minute job- and I'm a 71 year old grandmother- not an engineer! That said, "things I would change": I would very much like a table top DOUBLE or triple the size!!!! This one is small. I would like the cup holder positioned /connected to the upright and not in the table, as I want to use it for drawing. The handle for standing may well come in handy. All-in-all, this is a great buy!

Love it after using- great range of swivel top

Really difficult to adjust - needs tools to hold one side of adjuster in to set right height and length. At first hated it, wished I had gotten a different table top- just plain but bigger. Now I love it for the range of the swivel- i use it with an electric recliner. An added bonus- it stop the rear feet from sliding backwards- my wall thanks you, I had to switch from cups with handles as the cup holder does not accomodate a tea mug with handle.

Improvement to cup holder

We have owned two of these for 6 to 8 years. Great product except the cup holder as designed makes it easier to spill the drink. My wife has now gone blind making it worse. The solution is to pop out the plastic holder leaving the hole which is a good fit for a yeti style 20 oz cup holding it half way up the cup making is almost impossible to spill. If you buy a cup get a 20 oz with a magnetic slide closer on the lid.

A little small

My father is a senior with dementia. He likes the table and the additional handle to get out of his chair. However, the table is very small. It could only hold one book on it and maybe a remote. The table should be larger and they make analogous products that have larger tables. The grip handle is hard uncomfortable plastic. I obtained tennis grip tape, wrapped it around, voila, it is now comfortable with even better friction.

Not as sturdy as hoped

Doesn’t fit well under recliner type chairs but the table makes it nice for my husband to eat a snack or put things on. Wish handle was a little lower for using to stand and because it doesn’t fit under his recliner well it’s not as sturdy as could be

Amazing!

Can't fault this, totally sturdy, fitted in minutes. The grab handle aids raising from the sofa and a safe point to hold on to in the room. The table is a perfect size to use for eating off and then for holding a laptop. Bought for my elderly mum but honestly it's just perfect for anyone needing a work table. Love the way it swivels to any position and then can be rotated away when not in use. 10/10 for design, quality and sturdiness!

It’s expensive but as it serves my mothers needs and assists with getting up and down then I don’t suppose you can really put a price on that. The swivel table and leg is very robust and sturdy. It weighs a ton! But there’s no risk of it breaking. It’s solid and very well made. It’s a definite thumbs up from me.

Very well built

Very well built, solid and tray can be moved out of the way when not in use. No serious problems putting it together. although fitting the upright was a bit of a tight fit and required some surreptitious "taps" with a hammer to make one of the plastic gaskets that keep the thing upright fit snugly in the upright tube. I found the use of a small spirit level useful to make sure the tray was level in both plains. Sounds a lot more difficult than it was, but very worth while!.

Doesn’t fit all sofas

Pretty expensive for what it is, however it is made of proper sturdy materials, tray is very useful for my father-in-law when eating in his chair and the handle helps him get up and down. Advert says that it fits all sofas/chairs.... it doesn’t, we had to play about to get it into position and sacrifice the recliner function from the side of the sofa that we fitted it to.
