Crimped on both sides

Be sure when you order these that you're looking for pins that are crimped on both sides. If you're looking for flat on one and crimped on the other (as I was), look elsewhere.

They are definitely not ouchless

There is no flat side for against your scalp. Never thought of this - thought they were all the same. These ones actually hurt and I regret not doing my bobby pin research

Great!

I had only ever used the kind that are flat on one side. These are so much better! They grip better, are easier to put in, are less visible, and you don't have to fuss about which side is facing up. Now that I know how good bobby pins can be I am using them all the time. I wish i had discovered these years ago!

READ THIS: No flat edge

These bobby pins have 2 bent ends, meaning there is not the typical design where one flat edge can be tucked next to your scalp. Not sure how to use them, if this is a manufacturing mistake or there is an actual purpose for this bobby pin type that I'm not aware of. But these are not typical bobby pins.

Odd colour for “brown”

The colour of these is strange. It’s a pinkish-brown. They’re not subtle at all. Also, they don’t work as well as normal bobby pins. The ends point out on both prongs - neither is flat.
