These socks are very thin

I am disappointed in quality of Gold Toe socks I buy from Amazon. Either Gold Toehas gone way down in quality or the mail order ones are a different quality from what I’ve purchased in department stores.

Thinner than a sock, thicker than a "trouser sock"

I live in the South and do not do not do not like wearing shoes and socks. Period. If I could I'd wear sandals everywhere. However I'm an RN and I can't get away with that. I LOVE LOVE these socks. There is enough sock to cover my foot and my lower calf; they stay up even though my legs are curvy (chubby?) and most socks that go up past my ankle fall down, and the flowers and patterns appeal to me. I have washed a few times (both the navy and the black) and they have pilled a little but not enough to bother me . They are keeping their color, no fading, and they still stay up on my curvy lower legs. If you are a happy shoe wearer and love socks and mind a few pills (actually they are more like little slubs than pills and I may have them inside out I'm not sure) and can wear all kinds of socks without them falling, you may want to pass on these. I love them however and now have 12 pair. They go well with my boots too in case we get another freeze this winter, or go road tripping to someplace cold. They wick away moisture, they protect my feet, they stay up, they are pretty.. I don't need fat cushiony socks since I don't run unless Godzilla is chasing me, and these are perfect for my job, my work shoes, and my life. I'd give them 6 stars if I could. I have struggled to find the right sock for me, and this is it!

These are quality socks. Very happy with my purchase

I am so tired of buying "cute" socks, and then having a hole in either the toe or heel within months, if not weeks. I needed navy socks and I wanted a pattern or design. These are perfect. They are exceptionally soft and easy to get on. I will look for gold toe again in the future.

I have been buying gold toe socks for years. They seem to be thinner than they used to be.

Soft and don't pinch the leg

Despite the synthetic content, my feet felt good in these. They are soft and have minimal elastic, so that I didn't have any marks on the leg after wearing them all day. I have bought Gold Toe socks for years, mostly cotton ones, and the reinforced toes definitely hold better than other socks.
