Works as Expected. Sizing Claims Too Vague
I don't know about you all but this shop vacuum hose size thing is ridiculous. Rigid, ShopVac, Craftsman, and whoever else are petty. Either make them the standard sizes, same as standard PVC, or at least be upfront about the connection sizes ID and OD. I got this adapter to attach my Rigid vacuum/Dustopper to my DeWalt mitre saw. The hose from the vacuum to the adapter is from Rigid (model LA2550 2-1/2 in. x 7 ft. Dual-Flex Tug-A-Long Locking Vacuum Hose for RIDGID Wet/Dry Shop Vacuums). The adapter fits quite snug on the end of the hose. The smaller end does not fit onto the DeWalt saw. I had to heat gun a piece of PVC and stretch it around the end of the adapter. The other end of the PVC was also stretched wider the same amount so that it would fit snug inside of the saw. Other than the questionable sizing claims of the adapter, it works as hoped. The plastic maybe a little on the thin side and feels a bit flimsy but I don't expect to toss it around so it should be fine.

Doesn't fit Craftman 2.5" hose without adjustment
I bought this because I got a new Craftmans shop vac from Lowes. The end is 2.5" and all the attachments from my previous shop vac are 1.25". I tried to put it on the end of my 2.5" hose and it would fall back off because it was just slightly too big. I didn't want to have to deal with returning it so I added a small piece of electrical tape in one spot along the inside of the attachment. That took up just enough slack that it would stay on the end of the hose. 2 stars because after that adjustment it had good suction and the 1.25 end worked fine with all my attachments. Doable but poor quality control making it not as advertised.

Works with my Craftsman Wet Vac with 2 1/2 in hose.
I wanted something to clear out my A/C PVC pipes and had just purchased a Craftsman Wet/Vac and didn't realize it came with 2.5 inch hose so it was way too big to fit over the 1 in (outer dimension) PVC pipe like my old 1 1/4 inch hose did. This attachment fit right over the end of the 2.5 inch hose and fit over the PVC pipe perfectly and allows me to also use other tools meant for a 1 1/4 hose. I didn't give it a full 5 stars only because it's a little thin and doesn't seem that rugged, but for the price a good deal.

Solved the problem
The 2.5" hose of my 16 Gal. shop vac is unwieldy when working in small spaces. Bought this adapter so that I could add a 1.25" hose. This solved the problem, both in the workshop and when cleaning the cars. Worth the money. Strange that this is NOT a standard accessory with the larger shop vacs.

Fits perfectly.
Fits tools well. After reading the negative reviews about it not fitting, it appeared the users were not using it correctly. Now Thai have received the adapter, my suspicions were confirmed. The large end fits perfectly on the shop vac hose (2 1/2”) and the small end fits perfectly on my tools with 1 1/4” outlets. Looking at the pictures from the negative reviews, some were trying to fit this adapter to the outlet on the vacuum, where the hose attaches. It doesn’t go there, it goes on the end if the hose where the attachments go.

Works as described
I used to use a little 2.5 gallon craftsman shop vac that a 1 1/4" hose. I recently upgraded to a large Ridgid shop vac with 2 1/2" hose and I'm able to use all the old attachments on the new shop vac. I'm also able to hook up my Kreg K4 pocket hole jig using this attachment as well. It fits snugly onto attachments and is very useful. Glad I bought it.

Absolutely terrible product. Not only does it not funnel, causing clogs. Neither are sized as advertised. Both are significantly smaller. Mine measured less than 1 inch by 2.2inches. bought product from company Woodstock for half the price and is far superior.
