Better than expected, very reasonable price

Nice little fixture, reasonable priced for what I needed. I mounted it inside our chicken coop

You think you can find a better deal?

I wanted something cheap. My number one priority in looking for a new porch light was cost. Who knows, you may be foreclosed on any time, it could happen. So what do you do when your current proprietary bulb porch light dies? Is this the most beautiful porch light ever? No! Is this the most fancy porch light ever? No! Does it have a heavy duty glass jar? Yes! Is it a neutral color? Yes! Did it take me ten minutes to install including the time to remove the old light? Yes! Was it cheap? Yes! Am I satisfied with my purchase of the Westinghouse #66885 Black Jelly Jar Fixture? Yes! My one word of warning to anyone considering this fixture is in the size of the jar itself. None of my standardish 60W replacement CFLs will fit as they are too tall. Fortunately I had some smaller CFLs stored away in the closet, and while it's not quite as bright as I desired, it gets the job done, and I do like the simple look of the fixture.

PERFECT

I LOVED THIS LIGHT IT WAS BROUGHT TO REPLACE MY OUTDOOR LIGHT THAT WAS DAMAGED DURING A HEAVY WIND. NOT ONLY DID I RECEIVED IT FAST IT WAS VERY EASY TO INSTALL AND IT STILL WORKS AND STAND HEAVY WIND AND RAINS.

Simple is good

As the other reviewers have mentioned, this light isn't a work of art but it has clean, simple lines and it is a great price. It looks like the picture.

Don't waste your time and money - Free maybe!

Poor quality construction - thin metal that screws readily strip out.- expect wasting a lot of time finding larger screws or somehow using nuts or toggle bolts to hold this together
