Nice shoe

I got these for my husband, he needs comfort as he stands a lot. He said only took a couple days to break in and they are super comfortable and very supportive. We will buy again

My second pair

Great shoe to put on after a hard day of work. Sole thick enough to walk on gravel without feeling it. I used to wear house shoes but these do both and are super comfortable.

Good Shoes for Around the House

These are light weight and are a relief to put on after wearing work boots all day.

Not at all what I expect from Western Chief.

I could hardly get the shoe on with thin socks. Could not get it on with my heavier cotton socks. If I did get the shoe on, the heel cup is so wide, my heel slips up & down and side to side. Western Chief needs to build, or have this shoe built, with the American consumer in mind. Georgia Boot Co. has made some changes and their fit is much better. Their Romeos are still tight to get on, but I bought a pair and with a "shoe horn" I am satisfied. I will not buy another Western Chief romeo until I they have correct these two (2) defects are corrected.

Great Item

These boots are for my husband, who foot is shrinking I think! They are just a little big for him and an insole should fix that though. He wears them to job sites when he isn't actually doing the labor himself but needs as sturdy shoe nonetheless.

opening too narrow to get foot in

The shoe doesn't open up wide enough to get your foot in. Maybe smaller sizes are different but the 13W is not open enough to get the foot in. After discovering this, I looked at other reviews online (that weren't from this seller) and discovered this was a common complaint, so I wish I had searched around a bit more. On the plus side, returns were free. The inside was super thick and soft/squishy they are probably very comfortable shoes. The leather looked good quality and they had a good tread on them.
