Not Quality, But Good in a Pinch

I ended up not liking this product and returned it, so keep that in mind when reading this review. The product is lightweight and clearly made on the cheaper side. While this is neither a pro or con in the long run and entirely depends on the shopper, it was not what I was hoping for. However, for the quality the price seemed pretty fair. It was definitely given it's darker color after a cast, as any potential scratch would likely show a differently-colored, inferior product underneath (in case the weight didn't give away the fake stone look immediately). The image is close to the color I received, but given I was putting this in a guest bathroom, I needed something heavier, sturdier, and less likely to be damaged by guests. Additionally, although I did not test it myself, I get the feeling a "rough" pumping action would cause this product to fall right over, even with a full container of liquid soap. Not something I really wanted to deal with when the potential for scratches are there, or when guests are the main users and might feel bad for damaging my quick-fix product. If you're looking for a basic, lightweight product to fulfill a minor design test, this might be your winner. But mind that it is not "stone' in the classic sense, it is very light, and will likely attain damage and show it heavily over time.

Cheap plastic scent blends with soap.

The dispenser mechanism works just fine, but this bottle is made of cheap plastic and is coated with a spray paint that leaks into your soap, changing the scent and probably isn't good for your skin either. No amount of soap, bleach and/or alcohol can take out the stench. I went ahead and threw it out. Who knows what kind of carcinogens are in that cheap factory paint. Wish I paid more attention and read that it's not genuine slate stone.

won't dispense soap

Absolute waste of money. Soap won't dispense and the spring inside doesn't move. No amount of adjusting sorts this. I have to give it a one star rating, but sorry not even worthy of that

Leaking from base!

Looks ok but when I added soap and left it for a few hours I could see that it had leaked. Made a mess of the sink and a waste if money

Not slate but fake

This is not slate but made out of some material. I was rather disappointed as it wasn't cheap. Would send it back if it wasn't because I used it already

Variable sizes and short pipes

The products look great considering that they are plastic. However, the two I ordered both differ in size (there is no size choice when ordering so I don't know why they turned out to be marginally different sizes). Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, the pipes that suck up the product you put in these dispensers are too short by half (well 20mm or so). You'd end up thinking you'd run out of product well before you actually had. I've just ordered some new pipe to replace them with so that's added about £4 to each dispenser cost. Bit shoddy that.
