Looks great!

I love that it looks like porcelain! It was easy to install although my arthritic hands took a little longer. I want to say that I’ve had other makes over the years but wanted this one to be different, especially how I could detach and clean. The others I had were hard to clean. They had that nob in front that had to be turned to make snug/loosen on the toilet. And it got so dirty and so hard to clean. Kind of disgusting. My last one the nob broke off. The riser would fill with water which was hard to get out. Just a mess. This one had all the features I was looking for: easy to install/detach, easy to clean, comfortable, steady, handles. AND LOOKS PRETTY. Cost more, but worth it. I will have for much longer.

Just what the Dr ordered!

My husband was the benefactor of this seat. When I asked him what he liked or disliked about the seat. He said he wished it was a little wider. He is 6'5" and weighs 275 pounds. He needed it for the recovery at home for hip replacement. For my part, I can say it was easy to install and easy to clean.

Item shipped missing major components. Horrible customer service interaction

Item shipped with major components missing. Amazing the item contains literally 4 separate items. Toilet seat. Hardware pack, mounting blocks and the two safety arms. (Missing safety arms). Bemis customer service representative very rude and short when trying to rectify my issue.

Missing Security Arms

When we opened the box, the security handles were missing. Extremely disappointing since we had purchased for elderly parent to use on a travel trip and did not have time to return or receive a completed product. Sadly quality control in the packaging department needs to be addressed.

Very helpful, may need some help for installation

This has been a godsend for someone in the household who has to be very careful to avoid broken bones. It provides nice, sturdy support for holding on to and reduces the distance to get up or down from the toilet, making it much safer. This replaces the existing toilet seat and our biggest problem was that the bolts on the original seat were rusted shut--we needed to have someone come in and cut them off. If you have the equipment and/or skills to do that or your bolts aren't stuck, this is a super easy installation. I mention it because people who are buying this because they personally need it may not have the skills, tools, or flexibility to get down to the floor and remove the old seat. Once it's on, though, it's easy to loosen to clean thoroughly and provides great peace of mind. Definitely recommend.

Great for post-op recovery

This toilet seat riser was easy to install and fits our oblong toilet seat. Needed for post-op recovery and makes sitting on the toilet so much easier. Still some wobble once installed which could be unstable for someone who is physically unsteady, but it worked really well for me.
