Beware the couplings that don't have a one-piece cast metal backing. I received my replacement coupling yesterday, and it wasn't like that. It has cast metal for the threaded part, but some kind of sheet metal for the rest. While this is immaterial to the performance, it helps identify the part. In any case on the *very first use* the threads stripped out, rendering the coupling useless. I've replaced these before, and this one was installed properly. UPDATE: While Amazon's model number search tool said it would fit my blender (BB180) and it did, it was the WRONG PART. The 032453 part is the correct part, and doesn't immediately disintegrate on the BB180 blender like this part will. No doubt this part works well for the blender it is designed for, but Amazon's "fitness" tool (or whatever it is) is incorrect in stating that it works for a BB180 blender.

We have a commercial blender & while making Margaritas the blender made a funny noise. My husband took the glass carafe off the base & it was the "bearing" on the bottom. I said, I'll just get one from Amazon, and as always, 2 days later, the part was here, installed & we were back making Margaritas!!!!!!

Get the right model to get a perfect match.
Perfect when it fits. It is hard to select the right item. It won't fit properly and pricy for the product by itself.
