So far the best pin maker on Amazon

It gets the job done , just know not every pin is gonna take. My experience is every fifth pin will come out busted but the other four are usually ok. So do with that knowledge what you will. Still good enough quality that I’ll willingly take the loss.

I made 60 buttons within the first day of getting this

I also figured out how to deal with the buttons messing up, before putting the plastic piece in check to see if there is a piece of plastic sticking out, if there is you can soften the edge with an emory board, you can buy a small pack of them at the dollar store, once you do that the button would come out normal. It took me 2 damaged buttons to figure out this was what I needed to do, so now I impart this wisdom on whoever will see my review!!

Don’t buy the cheap plastic makers. This is the one you want

If you want to make only a few buttons one time, then go ahead and get the plastic one. But if you want to make buttons for multiple events, you’ll want to get this machine. Why you ask? First, because it’s sturdy as heck. You will never need another button making machine again, unless you decide to throw this out the window of a tall building, nothing will destroy this equipment. Second, you can buy different sized moulds to use with this machine so you can make multiple sizes of buttons. I first started with a 58 mm button plastic machine. I made my 100 buttons but then I decided I wanted to make the 32 mm sized buttons. I started looking around Amazon and realized I really like button making but I don’t want to end up with 6 different machines. So when I got this one for the 32 mm because it was on sale, and realized I could make so many different sizes with this machine, I started buying moulds and buttons in varying sizes. I still have my original 58 mm plastic machine but it’ll eventually be given away when I get my 58 mm mould. Highly recommend starting with this machine and expanding your button sizes as you need to!

Assembly instructions and tools need improvement

I received the product today. It looks like a solid product, but I struggled to understand the "installation" steps due to poor translation. When I finally reached the final step of installing the positioning screws, the image and provided videos showed installing it by using only fingers. However, that method was impossible. The package did include two allen wrenches, and I had only used the small one so far. The large one was at least 10 times too big to use for installing the positioning screws, but its presence gave me a hint that an allen wrench of the correct size might aid me in completing the assembly. After finding the correct, tiny allen wrench in my own tool box, I was able to finish. TLDR; huge allen wrench was included and not needed; tiny allen wrench was needed and not included; instructions neglect to mention need for allen wrench to install positioning screws.

Decent button maker

Assembly was easy but I had to go on YouTube as no instructions were provided. Once assembled it works well and the button qualities are as expected. Base is sturdy but you need to have something under it so it doesn’t scratch any surfaces. Adding some rubber to the bottom of the base would go a long way to help this issue.

It only takes about 10 to 15 seconds to make a button

I find 4 leaf to 9 leaf clovers and have given hundreds out to folks for good luck . I have 1 - 10 leaf .

Fantastic!

I’m not handy at all but was able to put it together in less that a few minutes. My 9 year old and I spent over two hours making buttons from damaged books. The only tool I need more practice with is the cutting tool. I might just get the 1” hole punch. Would definitely recommend. I will be using it my library for the students to use.

A good product

I had used a badge a minit button maker many many years ago, so I did have that to compare to. I found this machine much more reliable and easier to use. It does a very good job making the buttons. I had to speak with customer service about an issue, and I found them to be extremely courteous and helpful.

Idéal pour amateurs

Relativement facile d'utilisation, mais extrêmement huilé!! J'en avais partout sur les doigts. Ça fonctionne plutôt bien, mais la qualité du macaron est aléatoire. Je débute donc c'est peut être moi qui n'a pas encore le tour de main.
