Comfortable and Effective - Don't Let Incontinence Interfer w/Quality of Life!
Give yourself time to devise process and procedure. You will know exactly when the diaper is necessary. After Obie emptied his bladder outside I knew he wouldn't need one inside for a few hours. After he ate and/or woke he ALWAYS went for a walk. He was 19 so a precise schedule was not possible. Our walks became shorter and shorter - my aim was to bring him home on "empty" and tired enough to rest without anxiety or aggravation. He was blind and deaf; the nose was going too which was his greatest asset. He LOVED chicken BONE broth (no salt, onion or garlic) and was an avid partaker on approximately 1/4 cup when he woke and after walk. That broth kept him perky and comfortable to deal with daily events. Up to his last day with us he still had an appetite for Dr. Marty's dog food morsels soaked for at least 3 minutes in the bone broth and I sprinkled in Dinovite granules along with a their few drops of lickachops plus a bit of collagen from bulletproof. Oh! Unsalted rice cakes soaked in a bit of chicken bone broth was a great treat for him too. His vet recommended canned organic pumpkin (NOT for pies) which kept him regular and happily LAPPING up loudly his food bowl. Seizures got him in the end. The diapers were a godsend! I was not able to lift him outside during an episode. Even before that I didn't have to worry about him waking and beating him to the apartment door before he lifted a leg! Oh for the doggie door he grew up with, none here; went from large house with doggie door to apartment with zero doggie door. Anyway... back to diapers. Once his bladder was empty for the night I would line his diaper (he wore medium during the day and medium for night with pads made for incontinent women, extra absorbency and extra long) - then large was for the double wrap to last the entire night) Wrap the first with extra padding one way - for instance left to right to secure then the back up (second, large wrap no extra padding) the opposite way. You'll see. Sometimes the wraps come off if he brushed against something that hooks the secure point and pulls it away completely like a kitchen drawer pull or up against the sofa or bed. Again, you will see. A close eye when you first begin to use will help you figure out the configuration that works for you both. As long as Obi was strong enough to jump up on sofa the diaper did not interfere with getting up or down. Then he usually would sleep on his large, tempurpedic cushion with an extra cushion I'd place for his neck and face - he liked to spread out a Basenji trait. Their tails uncurl once body is relaxed and all fours are stretched out. He was an amazing companion and a very, very smart boy. If you've any question please reply to this post (if possible). Here's the Bottom line: Do Not Hesitate to purchase diapers for your puppy/young or elderly dog! I highly recommend them.

Not sure if I've got a winner or not
Let me start this review by stating my 6 year old Boston Terrier is a JERK (there are many other ways I'd love to put it, but I don't think my review would be added to Amazon). I purchased these for night time marking. He's fine ALL day long, we go out multiple times, and right before bed. And he still thinks it's appropriate to pee on my coffee table at night. You might wonder why a crate isn't effective. Well because he's frickin nuts, and digs so hard at his crate he ends up ripping out toe nails (a few trips to the vet later for sutures and the crate has been banished to the basement). OK for the review. 1) they fit just as described. 2) the urine that was caught in the pad, stayed in the pad. 3) because these are for overnights I'm not seeing (a) how he is getting them off, (b) how hes getting them around his bottom (c) and subsequently why he has started pooping in them, which is a new fun night time trend. The good news, is the diaper caught the poop. The bad news is while he was trying to get the diaper off, droppings fell out. Onto the floor, the couch, the rug, and underfoot in the morning. So do they catch waste? yes, the waste it was made to catch, and most of what it wasn't. Do they stay securely on? No, not even a little. Will these work for a JERK dog who cannot be trained? Sadly no.

Great for even large volumes
I am here to provide everyone the information that is for some reason impossible to find anywhere. How much urine can this product actually hold? Most of you lucky people are only dealing with little leaks or accidents from toy breed dogs but I have a 60 lb dog with a medical condition causing him to overdrink and FULLY empty his bladder on my carpet in the mornings. So first I sacrificed one of the wraps and poured water in it. I got up to 3 cups and could still flip it upside down and have NONE leak out. Wow. It probably could have held more but I figured this told me what I needed to know. Now if you put pressure on the absorbent surface, it would absolutely run out like a sponge. But since my dog does not lie back down until he is fed in the morning, that's fine by me. So for real life experience, my dog has urinated 12 ounces into it with no leaks at all. The velcro fastener held tight for the hour or so until I removed the wrap. This product is excellent even in extreme circumstances and for mild incontinence, it would be a lifesaver.

Sizing incorrect or maybe just not for bulldogs
My English bulldogs measure 21 inches in the waist and I ordered the Lg which was too loose and the MD which was too tight. I like Vet’s best products and these seem to be of good quality and the MD fit my frenchies just fine but I need them for the EB’a but they just don’t fit.

Amazing, highly recommended
These diapers are amazing and have made our dog happier. Our large labrador cross turned incontinent overnight and we have been told to medicate him with propaline syrup but until we can see if this works we need to use diapers. We purchased these in a size L/XL and they are a perfect fit. You have to make sure they are secured tightly enough else they will leak but equally not too tight that they cause discomfort. This may take a couple of attempts to get right so we ordered two washable reuseable absorbency mat pads which catch any overspill and protects his bed and our wooden floors. We use these overnight only as the absorbency is exceptional. During the day we use the Vets Best washable diaper with Tena pads if we need to pop out shopping etc as this gives us peace of mind he is comfortable and the house is clean when we come home and saves us we a lot of work cleaning up. I would highly recommend these diapers to anyone with a dog who is suffering from incontinence.

Large size not nearly absorbent enough for large bladders...
These were purchased for my Rottweiler/Old English Sheepdog-Cross. I bought the size recommended for his weight and size. I got these to use when my epileptic dog has breakthrough seizures, to keep him from getting totally covered in pee when he loses control of his bladder and to make the cleanup a little easier for me as a disabled owner. However, whilst they did help, they were not anywhere near absorbent enough for his big boy bladder - they'd frequently leak when removed as any excess pee would just sit on top of the pad once the absorbency was exceeded. Outside of the absorbency issues, my dog seemed to find them comfortable enough to wear and they didn't cause him any issues such as rashes, which were a problem with other brands. The velcro seals are great, making them easy to remove and put back on after letting the dog out for regular toileting, thus reducing wasted wraps. If they made them more absorbent, I'd buy more.

Incontinent Labrador ????
Tried everything and these, in my opinion, are best on market. Highly recommend! We haven’t had any leaking with these at all. If you take one off and it is still dry it will restick. We put belly bands over the top to hold it in place if it has been used several times. Our dog is always wet in the morning and we have never had a wet bed since we started using them. These have meant that we have been able to keep our 12 year old lab and without them we were considering the other horrible alternative. They are easy to put on and our dog just accepted them from day one.

If it ain't broken, don't fix it!
These were perfect having bought at least 6 packs over the past year or two (my dog gets occasional crystals in his urine which causes spotting) BUT the fastener has been changed. Where the previous Velcro type fastener was 101% effective at holding the pad in place the new smaller fastener becomes detached when he rolls in his sleep. Can't recommend these if they won't stay on, and shan't be buying these again.

Hit & miss
First pack I bought was excellent. Second pack the sticky strip that keeps the wrap closed and snug around the dog keeps coming off. On every wrap. So disappointing after the success of the first pack, now extremely wary of buying again ????‍♀️ Bought for my slightly leaky greyhound boy. They are a bit bulky around his waist but absorbency is excellent and they stay dry too. After initially finding them odd to wear he quickly got used to them. Such a shame that I don’t feel I can trust that another pack wont be as dodgy as the one I have now. Will be looking at other brands :(
