Best Discreet Tactical Pants

These are the most comfortable discreet tactical business casual pants I’ve ever owned. If you’re a plain clothes LEO and need something comfy and need to be able to carry an additional rifle mag and/or stash handcuff keys or anything like that, these are the pants for you. Highly recommend My advice to you, if you carry IWB, I recommend you go up 1 size. For example, if you’re a 36 waist, get the 38.

They're delta 2.1 but lighter and strech-ier

These are pretty much what Vertx says: lighter weight, slightly less warm version of the Delta 2.1 pants. This means: - same sizing - exactly the same pocket layout - slightly more stretch, which means a bit more form fitting since the fabric is also less stiff (but its the same size), i actually like this better for the day to day personally. It also mean the mag/phone side pockets have more space as the fabric will stretch more there as well See pics for fabric details: - blue is the Delta LT - brown is the regular Delta tldr: despite the lower weight they are weaved very similarly. The fabric does not feel like super light hiking pants, its thicker than that, closer to a dress pants thickness. I'm assuming these will not last as long as the regular Delta as well, but they should still last a while. All in all, i'd say these are slightly over priced vs the competition at 90USD, but if you like the Vertx pocket layout and find the regular Delta a bit too warm (which I think they are), these Delta LT are the ticket. Whenever they're sale, these will be out of stock very quickly, I'll certainly buy more.

If you like the delta stretch pants you will love the LT version. My favorite pair I own.

QC issues, inconsistent sizes, cheap feeling.

I ordered 30x30, my usual pants size, of the Delta 2.1 Stretch and this, and a 32x30 Cutback SF pants. The Cutback fits correctly. The Delta 2.1 stretch is way too tight at the waist--feels like a 28. This, the Delta LT, in 30x30 feels like the 32x30 Cutback at the waist, which fits like a regular 30x30. HOWEVER, for the price of these pants, the material is crazy thin and feels incredibly flimsy. Definitely a summer pair of pants, but there is no way this thing stands up to any abuse besides weekend trips to the mall. Any hint of "tactical" here just means it has more pockets than your regular pair of pants. The stitching looks and feels weak at the seams, and just by sliding my leatherman clip over the pocket edge I can tell neither the fabric nor stitching will last even a month. The crotch has extra material for more movement, but the cut is simply unflattering--it is overly baggy at the crotch and thighs and feels like I'm wearing my grandfather's pants. Sure it's comfortable, but so are my 10$ sweatpants. On top of the cheap material and light stitching, the left side mag pocket is folded over and sewn into the side seam. I guess quality control took a smoke break that day. Overall, the abhorrent inconsistency and cheap feeling of these pants (all 3) confirms this is just another one of those youtube hype train products. My $50 American Eagle pants and $35 Levis fit better and feel tougher, just without extra pockets. Look somewhere else if you want quality. Go ahead and buy these if you want to feel "tactical" with some gimmicky pockets at the shopping mall.

Very comfortable

I have a lot of tactical pants, my main use is casual. I have the normal version of these and they were a little too thick and not as soft as others. Well I needed some more and my main go to has been sold out. Saw vertx had the light version and wow I'm impressed. Perfect layout of pockets for me. These are comfy and lightweight, in a great way! I got my normal size since I just pocket carry and they are true to size.

These feel amazing!

Probably the most comfortable pants I own and I just bought another two pairs. Pockets are plentiful, positioned properly and seem to hold up well to everyday use. The material is soft, so I do have concerns about durability, but once I put them thru the rest of hard daily wear, we shall see.

Best pant available

You cannot go wrong with Vertx pant. The Delta LT is just a lighter weight version of the Delta 2.1. It fits the same but offers a cooler solution during the summer months. All the right pockets for EDC and the stretch fabric is great.
