Great Doorstop

I really like the Umbra doorstop. It doesn’t slide on my laminate flooring, fits perfectly under the door and is out of the way. It’s also easy to adjust with my foot. It’s not so grippy that I can’t just slide it out of the way without bending down. And I don’t stump my toe on it or trip over it like I’ve done with the random objects I’ve been using. But, it’s grippy enough that it won’t go sliding across the floor like a hockey puck if I accidentally hit it (which doesn’t happen because it stays where I put it). And it makes me smile because it’s shaped like a little person stuck under a door, which is a situation I imagine I might get myself into. I kept waiting for the blue to become available, or even red, but I finally just ordered grey. It works well because it blends in, and the shape is just for my amusement anyway.

These are great!

This product was a much better quality than I expected. They work really well keeping the door open and protecting your floor. I would recommend these to anyone and they are also funny for people to see.

Great PuppyChew!

I worked fun, but within 2 days, my 2 year old shihtzu decided to first start chewing off the legs, then continued. If you don't have dogs that love to chew, or young children, or barn doors in an old house that may shift w the house, it's a cute, useful little doorstop.

This makes me laugh

I had a boring brown wedge door stopper, and it eventually broke. Instead of spending about $3 to replace it with the same dull wedge at the hardware store, I spend $10 to get a laugh with this little Everyman, who is trapped by life's crushing weight. It reminds me of that Monty Python song "Always Look On the Bright Side of Life" at the end of "The Life of Brian." YMMV, but to me this OXO doorstop is obviously worth every penny. I'm only sorry that the other colors (blue or red) were out of stock. When they are back, I'll buy another little flailing guy.

Cute and works!

I have an extra heavy door (science lab door) and the “little man” props it open and is uniquely mine- no worries about finding my door stop. My students even like to name him. I think the current name for my door stop is Ralph.

Excellent quality

Stopper is excellent quality and works well. Holds heavy steel door (in an office building with commercial carpet) even when the door is only partially open. Very cute. I would recommend a high-contrast colour for public access areas.

One job. Hold the door. Mostly does so.

Successful at his one job in 99% of circumstances but note that he is not strong enough to hold forever on a smooth marble floor while an opposing force is trying to beat down the door… slowly but inexorably and despite his courageous effort, my weight of my condo door and its fire safety door closer drags him along and overwhelms the poor guy. But he can buy me a couple precious minutes to wheel in a hand cart full of groceries or a new recliner in a box. So he did his duty before being overrun and crushed. A valiant if ultimately doomed last stand. When asked how he felt about his performance he gave a very verbose and accurate after action report: “HODOR.” - Hodor

Works well on tile floor

We use this little guy every night to keep my dog from exiting laundry room but allowing enough room for the cats that I hate living with and wish my wife would let me throw in the lake.

As expected

Works perfectly and it comes in 2. I wanted something decorative for a door jammer. I already own the cat jammer from here in amazon. As much as I love it, I didn want to pay the same amount for one again. This looks more fun than decorative, and it' looks sturdy, holds the door perfectly. I ordered with prime and came 5 days later even when the item ordered was shipped in my area.
