My Go-To

This has been my favorite swimsuit bottom for the past 5 years. The material has better-than-expected durability. Dries very quickly. Adequate & modest coverage, but still a fun & flirty barely-there length. I heard a rumor the TYR Active Mini skort may be discontinued, which is SOOO disappointing. I believe it may be replaced by the "Della" swim skort, which is an *almost* substitute, but longer in length, which doesn't really work for me, since I am already short and don't need a longer skirt.

I'm a 36 year old mother of two with a very athletic build. I'm a competitive powerlifter and have very muscular thighs and anything but a flat rear end with a small waist. These bottoms fit so nicely! Very comfortable and I feel super confident wearing them. I can splash and play with my kids without having to worry about anything shifting and I still feel that it's cute and feminine. Thank you TYR for making suit bottoms that nicely fit athletic builds! I also purchased the TYR twist tankini top in black and the two go together nicely. I felt these fit true to size. I am 5'7 and weigh 180lbs. I purchased the XL.

XL - Fits as expected

Purchased XL - I'm a 14/16 - 34" waist- fits like a mini skirt, tight but doesn't make me bulge or have a muffin top. I wear with a tankini and often a tank top when hanging out. It smooths me out, I wish the skirt flowed a bit more, it's tight in the front and you can tell, but my tankini is long enough to cover between my thighs comfortably. I am able to pull it up, I wanted a high waisted version, to just below my belly button to hide some lumps. Downside is it can only be hand washed and no dryer or detergent. So how do I wash it..? Lol

Love this swim bottom, shorts unter a skirt gives you an extra protection in case your skirt rides up in the water. I would definitly buy another one.
