Arrived on time

This has interchangeable parts so we've been using them and making all kinds of stuff, but when we purchase another one, we'll make sure that it has hotter delivery and a timer. This Koolatron is worth the money we purchased it for, but, it is low wattage and this means it takes a bit longer to deliver a product. The up side of going slower is that we've yet to burn anything. So, it's safer around kids.

Nice Little Machine

I've had my Total Chef for about five years now and so far, it's been working fine. I wash the plates by hand and I haven't noticed any peeling of the material at all. It grills fine and the sandwich plates make the best quesadilla. My only complaint is that it just doesn't get hot enough to do really good waffles. They're not bad...but I think a heat controls would make them better.

Makes a heck of a mess

I was looking for a waffle maker that also had plates for sandwiches. Mom had one when I was a kid and thought my kids would like it too. They had a good laugh when I tried to make a grilled cheese and it went EVERYWHERE. It didnt even get the bread toasted before the cheese was leaking everywhere. And the seal n cut plate did neither. Cheese leaked everywhere and just had a giant mess. Waste of money. Guess I am buying two separate items instead.

Great for cooking for two

Use if for cooking gluten free only and works out great for my husband and myself. I thought it would give more options for my husband to fix lunch etc on when he wanted to grill something maybe just for himself. So far we have used it for waffles and pancakes, but I don't think he has gotten creative yet. Cleans easily.

Not the best grill

I liked the way it cooked a stake inside the house. The steak was done just right in a few minutes and was tender and juicy. I then made some pan cakes I had been wanting. Maybe I couldn't understand how to use it but the grill kept cutting off with my pancakes and it took too long to cook them.

Good Item for the money

It is a very good item for the money. It is easy to clean because you can remove the heating plates. I would suggest to wash plates thoroughly then heat the sandwich maker (for 5 minutes) two or three times before your first use. Enjoy.

Just what we wanted

I like the flat grill plates that make grilling sandwiches easy. Removable and easily cleaned. Only problem is an order that comes off when heating. I assume this is because it is new and will improve

i belive that it is still buyer beware before you buy something. we were not happy with product as soon as it arrived never have used it but when we have to pay for return shipping it makes buying a pain and not worth buying from this company

Don't buy this product.

Worst piece of crap, didn't heat up and took too long to cook. Too many nooks and crannies to clean. Any wonder first one I got was returned and you didn't even bother to remove address with her name and address. So much for confidentiality. This one is the replacement.
