they're sturdy leather, have a great shape

I'm still not sure if I can keep these. I always wear an 8.5, and these are an 8.5, but my toes are touching the front of the shoe quite a bit. But they're leather, and leather stretches, so I'm still trying to decide if I should send them back and get the size 9. Other than that: they're sturdy leather, have a great shape, the sole feels great, and I love them. They seem like they're going to be great work shoes, just hope this is the size for me, or that the 9 isn't too big. Also, I have pretty slender feet, if you have wider or 'chubby' feet, they may be a little snug.

Pleased with this pair of shoes.

I liked how these fit. They were snug at the ankle and heel to help make the shoe secure but gave me lots of toe room. I have switched from wearing high heels to an office everyday to steel toes in a plant every day. So, I was very surprised with how well they fit and how nice they looked. They are also very comfortable to wear. I usually have problems with my heels and also a bunion and my feet feel really good in them all day long.

Surprisingly comfortable

The shoe is very comfortable. I work in manufacturing and I am always coming in contact with wet surfaces. My last pair of shoes I could walk through anything and not slide. That’s not the case with these.

Best Safety Shoe and attractive

I absolutely recommend these if you have problems with standing and overall foot pain due to surgery - they fit perfectly and no wearing them in to avoid blisters NO WORRIES - wear every day to work and never fatigued

Ankle stabbers

Too small. Very hard. Going to return them because they stab my ankles in the back. Miss the other pro version, now only sold in white. Wish they'd change that! Love those shoes!

Exactly what I was looking for...

Some reviews stated no truly ESD, but they are labeled...doesn't really matter to me. I chose for style and comfort. I have a very wide, flat, and fat foot and these fit great. Little snug at top rim of left foot, but they'll wear in just fine. Indeed very comfortable to me. I absolutely love!

THIS SHOE IS NOT COMFORTABLE!

I'm sorry I purchased this shoe. Although the size of the shoe is correct, the toe cage is VERY big. The support in the shoe is lacking and my feet hurt by the end of the day. I even put an extra Dr. Scholl's insole in the shoe; didn't make them feel better. I've worn them twice with the same result. I would love to return them but I can't because I've worn them twice. BAD purchase. My 10 year old Timberland PRO Women's Renova shoe is much more comfortable than the Newbury.
