Good Boot, Though Not for Everybody.

The boot looks and performs well. I wanted a high boot for maximal protection for riding my motorcycle and occasional use for field work. It is a rugged boot. It does take a little longer (about 7 to 10 days) to break in this boot, as the stiff base piece at the heel doesn't let the leather section at ankle height flex very much, especially when new. I wrapped a softball in a couple of old socks and forced that down the heel of the boot to help the initial break-in and keep it from riding in on the ankles. The top rim of the boot is not completely finished and has a sewn perimeter. It is very aggressive on the calf and requires a good high boot sock that can be wrapped over the top of the boot. Otherwise, some form of cloth trim piece needs to be tacked on onto the top of boot or its going to be unwearable. Timberland boots (I own several) usually don't have this kind of finish problem, and I knocked a star off an otherwise tough and comfortable boot for this reason.

Have worn them every day for a year and a half

I have worn my original pair for over a year-and-a-half. I do welding and mechanic all day so I'm constantly exposing them to multiple things during the day. Not only molten metal but also all sorts of chemicals. They have held up very well. I wear them 5 days a week for about 12 hours a day if not more. They have lasted me over a year and a half. I have ordered a second pair because I found a shoe that I can count on to last me a long time and be comfortable. The break-in time is about a week or two but after that it is a great shoe. I would highly suggest these to anyone that does welding or Works in a mechanical field.

Blow Out

Didn’t last very long... these boots ended up blowing out on the outer sides. Might be able to get a repair or replacement. While they lasted they were gray though!

2nd pair of timberland pro boots. Love 'em

Love these boots. Stood up to a year of oilfield abuse. Keeps feet warm enough in the winter and very comfortable. They also keep your feet dry in puddles up to the brim. Not as tall as mucks, but thus far i haven't experienced puddles that deep in Colorado oilfield. They did start to leak at about the 11 month mark due to heavy abuse (i.e. kicking them against things to detach mud.) Overall my favorite boot for the money. Pictures of new/ 1 year old boot

Great boot narrow EE size

returned the boots and was a pain free process. Amazon paid for the return and refunded my money before they got the boots. Boots are narrow for EE size. otherwise have great additions. Arch support and new heel support.

Best work boots EVER!

This is my second pair that I've owned. I've worn timberline, redwing, dr Martin and various other brands through out the years and found that these have suited me the best. I work in the oil industry and am VERY hard on my work boots. My last pair of these lasted longer than any other brand or type of boot and did my feet right. I found no other reasonable option other than to buy the same kind again.
