Thermos is nice but arrived dented!

Bought this as a gift. The thermos is very nice, but it had a big dent on one side and that is why I returned it and got another one. So why was I charged a restocking fee when the product was defective? Was it my problem that when the gift was opened it was dented?

Exactly what you’d expect from a respected brand

Not much to say hear other than it keeps the hots hot and the colds cold… for hours and hours. The built in son is a great addition.

It works ok

We have used hot water from our Keurig to preheat. This has kept the food warm. You may get a different result with boiling hot water. The opening is wide enough to clean the inside with a washcloth or sponge. It is dishwasher safe, however, I found it doesn't get clean if it held something other than a liquid. It comes with a foldable spoon in the lid which is convenient, however, it's difficult/gross to fold/unfold after using & before cleaning.

When you want the best!

Beautiful , well made and functional. AND keeps temperature of food (hot or cold) for a long time. Having the stainless steel built in spoon is a genius move and I love it! Good size and as always made of quality materials with good craftsmanship. Great.

Tip: I'm using wide neck cunning funnel to fill up the thermos.

It's a fantastic thermos. Around 6:30 am I put a piping hot macaroni and baked chicken pieces into the preheated thermos. My kid had his lunch at 12:30 pm and the food was so hot he couldn't touch it. When I opened the thermos around 16:30 the food was still warm! Warm on the level I could feel some steam coming out. The pliable spoon is very convenient. So now I bought a second thermos for my other kid who starts school this year. And another fun fact about the thermos - the younger kids are fighting who is going to finish the leftovers right from the thermos that my oldest boy bring home! QUICK TIPS: 1) I'm using wide neck cunning funnelStainless Steel Canning Funnel to fill up the thermos. In the morning rush it's a life saver tool. 2) They say that it is top-rack dishwasher safe, yet I highly recommend hand-washing. The high temperature of drying may affect the insulation. Here are some crucial SAFETY points to always keep in mind (user's guide quoting): => Contents should not be left in the container for longer than 24 hours. If contents are left in the container longer than 24 hours, or you suspect spoilage, use caution when opening the container. Contents spoilage can cause pressure inside the container to build, possibly leading to the forceful ejection of the stopper or contents. In such circumstances, before attempting to open the container, ensure the opening is pointed away from the user or other persons to avoid injury. => For maximum thermal efficiency, preheat or pre-chill the product just prior to use. Fill with hot/cold tap water, attach lid, let stand 5 to 10 minutes and empty water. After filling container with contents, re-cover with lid to increase thermal efficiency. => Do not use to store or carry carbonated drinks or dry ice

Working well

According to my son, his food is hot as it should during his lunch. I bought this because the other one is working well. The features are perfect, can contain more (for bigger kids or adults). It looks very durable and quality material. My favorite is the spoon (very environment friendly idea, we do not have to buy plastic spoon every now and then). It foldable and washable everytime and it's a quality one. This is my son's perfect lunch container especially these days (no microwave and they do not eat at the cafeteria). There is value for money. Recommended.

Excelente material. Coloquei comida as 7h e as 14:40 ainda está morna....aprovado. Detalhe da porção no caso estou de dieta e pra pessoas que comem pouco o tamanho é ideal. Cerca de 4 colheres de arroz, 5 colheres de carne moída e duas colheres de legumes sobrou espaço.

A sopa fica quentinha

Comprei uma vez e veio amassado, mas a Amazon trocou. Testei hoje, levei minha sopa para o trabalho e após cinco horas estava quente a ponto de eu ter que assoprar para comer. Mas segui as instruções certinhas, coloquei água fervente dentro do pote deixei por 10 minutos e só então coloquei a sopa. Muito bom produto para quem precisa passar o dia fora e quer comer algo caseiro.
