Nice stainless steel water bottle for little ones

My 6 year old like many little ones is in love with all things Disney, especially princesses. I've been replacing a lot of her older plastic cups with steel ones and this cup fit the bill as far as materials, design and price. It's pretty easy to clean, has a nice handle at the top for carrying, and seems to be leak proof. All in all happy with it.

Use it everyday

We outgrew the sippy cups at 18mo and bought this to replace it. It’s perfect. He was able to open and close it by himself within a month. He is now 2 and it’s still in perfect condition despite being used daily. Tip, make sure to clean the thermos and the straws throughly or it will mold. Just like a sippy cup, you have to disassemble the silicon suction and give it a good scrub every few days.

Same day, different design

I ordered the 12oz FUNtainer water bottle in the Pokémon design. Received the order the same day at not extra cost! It was supposed to be a blue and grey bottle with Pokémon characters in it , but I received one that was all black with Pokémon characters on it. I like this one just as much if not better so I’m not worried about, but I know some people might care and it looks like it has happened before based on other reviews. We love these water bottles for both kids and will definitely continue to buy them!

Top hinge is weak

I had really high hopes for this water bottle. I have been using it with my one year old and while it does keep water cold and is leak proof with the top closed, when the top is open the hinge is very weak and it flips extremely easily. My son being so young doesn’t have the best control, so if he goes to drink, 9/10 times the top and/or handle will cover the straw right in his face before he can get his mouth to it. Sometimes it’ll close on him while he’s drinking if he moves too much. One of us has to be there to hold it back for him, which kind of defeats the purpose. I’d be fine leaving the bottle open and enduring small spills for my son’s convenience if the lid didn’t close on him every time he picked it up to drink. That said, it is by far the most hygienic and easiest to clean kids water bottle I’ve seen yet and it actually has a straw small enough for younger toddlers.

My grandson has been using the Thermos since he was 2 yrs old. I appreciate the lid mainly for when we go out, less chances of it getting dirty from falling on the ground.

Thermos Branded, Mostly Well-Built

Kid loves the Mario theme, and it's useful as intended for cold liquids only. However, I find the handle plastic feels a bit flimsy. The included name labels do not stick well. Time will tell whether it will stand up to the thermos reputation.

Good kids water bottle

Good water bottle overall, keeps water cold, tight seal. If the bottle is open and on its side it will slowly leak from straw. Other than that it’s great.
