No need to spend snap-on money

This socket was perfect for getting in the right spot for a job I may never need to do again. Would I recommend it for professional mechanics? No. But for tinkerers and those who have a special project that requires this application to get a nut that even the skinniest squirrel can't harvest, it can't be beat for the price.

Works great for Harley exhaust flange bolts

Will get on all exhaust flange bolts with its swivel and thin wall and prevents from scratching chrome exhaust.

It is made when working in tight spaces, but not strong enough to handle a lot of torque.

Great for the price

Can't go wrong for the price. I would have liked it to not be as loose in the swivel and I'm sure I can break it but absolutely perfect for those instances you need it.

Makes the impossible merely tedious

Some tools exist to make a job easier, or more pleasant. Others exist to make a job possible. This socket exists to make a job possible, when no other socket or wrench will fit into a tight spot. And it did so very nicely for me. This is a very well thought-out socket. The socket itself is more shallow than normal, to help it fit in tight areas. The swivel portion is as compact as it can be, and transmitted torque smoothly enough that I feel confident that my transmission pan is torqued to specification. The assembly is also just tight enough that you can position it at the anticipated angle, and it will stay there, so you can position it on an inaccessible fastener without an extra hand to align things.

A must have for turbo maintenance

This little gem made removing and replacing the turbo on my TDI Jetta far easier. There was one bolt that was extremely difficult to access even with a box end wrench and even then I had to flip the wrench around repeatedly. This makes all that go away and getting the bolt started is now a piece of cake. 10mm is a very common size (at least on a Volks) so I expect to use this often. Love that it’s built tight enough to hold an angle with a bolt inserted in the socket.

Pentastar 3.6L oil pump or 2.4L Multiair thermostat must have

That one bolt.... you know the one! Those other three no big deal but that other red headed stepchild of a bolt that will bring you to the brink of developing a brain aneurysm. This one socket will save you from certain heartache. Don't think I would srap it onto a impact driver since I only have the one but at this price I should have got two and taken one around to block for a durability rating.
