So far, so good!
I can't speak to the details of cleaning this item or its durability as I have only had it for a couple of days. It's pretty light and fluffy, its not thickly stuffed but considering my priorities for it it's a good pick. It felt pretty solid quality wise and the texture is what i expected, it felt like it was built for the outdoors. I got the XL (for a 1/3 of the current price) and she fits on it nicely. For the price I paid and the observations of it thus far, i am happy with this all around. I have an 11 yr old Great Pyrenees who adores laying anywhere outside. To give her more comfort i wanted to get her a dedicated outdoor bed to chill out on versus the deck, which is her choice over the grass. Like most things she comes to terms with whats hers on her own time. I introduced it to her by carrying her front half to it and declaring it her bed. She looked at me like 'meh' and slowly and casually laid down beside it. This morning however, I caught her fluffing it with her paws and what i call 'face smashing' into it, which is basically a jovial head down into it while nuzzling, back and forth, with an open mouth while making sounds of pure joy. I then caught her curled up in a ball on it just before leaving for work. So it get 5 stars for getting my stubborn girl to play on the bed.

Beautiful fabric - way too big for my dog
I read a review where someone was glad to have ordered the extra jumbo size. and, a review where they had to take some of the stuffing out for their dog. so, I ordered the big one, because he does not like a bed too small. it it much too big. a child could sleep on it. so I ordered a sewing machine so that I can cut it down (the whole thing) to size, and remove much of the stuffing (which I will save for later in case I need it. very glad I did not order the bean bag chair to match.

Great until color quickly faded
Was wonderful for first 6 months. After that the color began to fade tremendously. It was not due to washing, since I hadn't washed it at that point. The center where the discoloration is now an eyesore. Be careful if you are buying only for looks.

Top not exactly what I expected
My last dog bed had a soft, plush top. This one is more flat. The advantage is that is cleans up a lot easier.

Needs better and more filler/padding
I like the size but not enough quality filler. As soon as my dog lays down on it hes on the hard floor with little padding.
