Bright lights for little money

Love these, I actually took them on vacation over the holidays to light up our balcony, so fun.

Basic multi-colored light string.

Just what I need for decorating a 30' tree outdoors (8 strands). No flashing, blinking, or color changes. Just basic outdoor lights that have held up perfectly through high winds and snow storms. I lkie them.

Good Light and Color

These bulbs have little bumps on them, which diffuses the light somewhat and obscures that little intense white spot you sometimes get with lights like this. Bulbs are bright and colors are true, if a little on the pastel side. A good value choice for simple trimming. (Wire is fairly heavy duty so this light string has some weight to it.)

Best Christmas Lights for beauty and value!

I have been using this brand of lights for many years and I light them 24/7/365. I bought another set as a back up. The lights are beautiful and a fair price. I'm very satisfied with these lights and I highly recommend them. They were delivered as scheduled. I like everything about these lights.

A Piece of Junk

I ordered 10 of these lights on a black Friday sale and they arrived on December 1. My husband installed 7 strings of lights that day. Two strings had half of their bulbs not working in less than 3 weeks. My husband is an electrical engineer so he understands how to find a burned out bulb. There were none. The strings are just defective. I thought Sylvania was a big brand name, but now I think they just manufacture junk. On top of the problems with the lights, Amazon's customer service is terrible. I tried to return the 2 out of the ten strings that were defective. Their is no way to make it clear to Amazon that I did not want to return all the lights, just the 2 defective ones. You can not talk to a real person; you just have to make selections from their return page. Sometimes none of the selections fit the situation. I tried the chat, but that too is automated so it is not helpful. I finally talked to a real person in their call center by lying online about what my problems concerned. That person had to put me on hold twice for a total of 30 minutes because he could not answer my questions himself and probably needed to talk to a supervisor. Amazom advertises themselves as being the most customer centric company there is. The fact is they are just the opposite. A company that makes as much money as Amazon does, should provide a call center that is well staffed and easy to get to talk to if a customer needs to talk to someone about an order.
