They aren't the softest sheets but we have purchased two sets and like them a lot. They aren't scratchy or anything like that, just don't expect some amazing softness. I think they will hold up for a long time and they are SO beautiful. I'll be buying another design soon.

very chemical smell, but pretty
I found these while looking for 100% cotton sheets that were inexpensive. Since that's nearly impossible to find, I will give these 3 stars. For as cheap as they are, they are still all cotton, and they do look nice (I got the Maywood Grey pattern). They are not especially soft, but they are exactly what you should expect for 300 thread count sheets. I have washed them twice and, so far, no fading - that's already more than I can say for other cotton sheets at this price point! However, they have an INCREDIBLY STRONG CHEMICAL ODOR. I washed them immediately (I expect that awful smell from cheap sheets, generally) and the smell was still so strong that I had to wake up in the middle of the night and take them off the bed. I washed them again - still smelly! The third wash finally got rid of the chemical smell. I'm happy with my purchase for the price. If you buy, I recommend three washes right off the gate - trust me, you'll sleep better!

I don't understand the people who call this material rough
I bought these sheets in 2018, and went back through my orders to find them to order sheets for my new bed because I love these ones so much. They are SO comfortable, not rough AT ALL, in fact, are probably the most comfortable sheets I've ever owned, and I've owned a lot. I've washed them countless times, they remain as soft and brand new looking as they've ever been. The sheets haven't yellowed or pilled or anything like that in the two and a half years I've had them. They're absolutely beautiful--I get compliments on them all the time. To all the reviews saying they're rough--I truly can't figure that out. I have no memory of an odor when I opened the package, either. I 100% recommend these sheets!!

Good value
These are good sheets. Unfortunately the picture shows a purplish color when really it is blue. But it was my fault since the description states blue.

Inexpensive, soft, and breathable.
My husband has put his foot down that I'm no longer allowed to buy the cheaper synthetic material sheets anymore. He just hates the feel, so he's made me swear to stick to 100% cotton. I took a chance with these online, and I'm glad that I did! I also bought the matching duvet cover and pillow case set. The sheets are pretty soft for their thread count. They wash up really well and have been holding up nicely for the past several months. I like that they are breathable, too. When we go on trips, my husband and I both can't wait to get back home to OUR sheets. They're a good deal!

Not what I was expecting
Based on the reviews I thought I was purchasing quality, soft cotton sheets. I was very wrong! I was skeptical when I opened the package and noticed how rough the fabric was but I decided to wash them as recommended before using them. They have a very strong odor which sometimes happens with new fabric but that did partially go away after the first washing. However the fabric remained rough to the touch. They were also very wrinkled which is to be expected with cotton. I put them on the bed and slept on them last night..........I can't even begin to explain how uncomfortable they were....it felt like I was sleeping on fine grit sandpaper... it was just very rough, sort of like a cheap muslin...actually muslin would have been smoother......my skin was so irritated I couldn't sleep.....it was so bad I got up at 2 AM and changed the sheets. The fabric is also very thin which I wasn't expecting for the price. On the plus side the sheets seem to be well made. The stitching is good, the elastic is well sewn in. The bottom sheet is very deep so if you have a standard mattress this may not be a good fit. Actually unless you like sleeping on sandpaper perhaps it would be a good idea to pass on these. I have to wonder about the validity of some of the reviews I read. Unless I received some type of seconds I don't understand how people could rate these sheet anything but awful. I did contact Amazon to find out what I could do since I already washed them and customer service was wonderful. They took care of the problem.

Love these sheets!
These are really nice sheets. If you like stiffer, crisp cotton sheets get these! The pattern is beautiful. The size is generous with plenty of top sheet to tuck in. We have a deep mattress with a couple of toppers on it and there is room to spare with the bottom sheet. This one is not slipping off. Definitely a good buy!

I like to wash my sheets in warm water & sometimes use detergent with Clorox - these sheets are to be washed in cold water & no bleach.

Poor quality
These are supposed to be 300 thread count cotton, but they’re thin and feel more like flannel than cotton. The pattern is nice, but they’re actually unpleasant to sleep on — not crisp at all. The problem is that since you have to wash sheets before their first use, it’s not possible to return them. I won’t be buying another set. In fact, I won’t make the mistake of buying sheets online ever again. Clearly one has to be able to feel them in person before purchasing them.
