Made for shoes, not boots

It's a nice product, however, the wooden frame doesn't seem like it would hold up very long out side in the weather were you would be brushing off your shoes. And the side brisels are not long enough to reach both sides of my shoe at the same time, so I have to swipe my foot on the right and then again on the left to clean the edges on my shoes. To bad the side brisels don't extend higher up so I could use it on my boots as well. I just got it not to long ago, so I really can't say how long it wood last. But so far, I like it and I'm glad I got it.

Keep The Crud Out!

Review revision 9/9/2019: we’ve only had these boot cleaners for a couple of seasons but the bristles are already falling or breaking off and shedding everywhere. Now I suspect they may only last one more season before they have to be thrown out. Therefore, I am taking off 1 star although I should really make it 2 stars. We like this boot cleaner for removing dirt, gravel and snow from the bottom of our shoes. It uses your body weight to it's advantage and digs out the crud stuck in the treads of your shoes. We like them so much that we have one at every entrance to our house. It has one drawback and that is the side brushes. They are only about 1 inch high so they don't reach the crud on the sides of your shoes very well. However, we supplement this scraper with another boot cleaner that has high sides but only does one shoe at a time. Together they work well to thoroughly clean our shoes.

Standing on boot scraper holds it in place while cleaning other shoe makes it perfect

My son has one at his house that I like so much so ordered one for my house. Very good purchase to remove the dirt from my shoes so I don’t track it in the house.

Bristles fall apart pretty quickly

Hi everybody. I have been using my Stalwart 50-190 Boot Scraper for about 10 months at the time of writing this. It works just like you would expect and I have no issues with the performance or functionality. Long-term durability is the problem. As you can see by the attached pictures, the bristles are falling apart. Not out, but apart. I'm guessing from sun exposure since this sits on my front porch. It's getting progressively worse so I only expect another six months or so before I need a new one. I would NOT buy this particular boot scraper again. I will buy a different one when this one is through. I cannot recommend this product.

Very stable when scraping

Great boot scraper. Stays put when you clean your shoes. Its wide enough for your feet to fit. Not tall scrapers on the sides but I havent yet had occasion where it isnt deep enough

Simple but effective

Well designed. Don't have to screw it to the deck because you use both feet to stabilize it. Simple and effective.

a great choice

I was surprised at the quality and performance of this product. The wood frame is made from really good hard maple, which I never expected. The brushes are stiff, but not too stiff and do an excellent job removing the dirt and sand from my shoes and boots. I wouldn't hesitate at all to buy products from this company again.

Great Product

My husbands job is all dirt work so needless to say when he gets home and comes in the door there was always mud. I ordered this but had little hope it would actually work for him. I was wrong THIS IS AWESOME. He uses it every time he gets ready to come in side and leaves all of the mud outside. Great product.
