Needs rubber grips to hold books.

They look great but are so light they won’t hold my books. I purchased stick-on rubber grips for the bottom and that did the trick!

Love the look!

I love the look of these bookends! They are more decorative than anything, and are only holding 5 paperback books currently, but that was all I wanted them for. I don't think they are heavy enough to hold much more than that or a bunch of standard sized hard cover books. They are on an entryway table where there is a nautical theme and they are perfect for the space!

Book ends aren't white, as pictured

I wish I would have read the reviews before buying these. They serve the purpose I need them for, I guess- but the price is extremely high for what you get. These don't look like actual nautical knots- more like a ball of rope, and the wood pieces aren't fully panted white, hardly even "white washed".

Cheap quality and plywood

These are actually very much as pictured, so props for that. They're just not nice. That is plywood and barely whitewashed. Going back.

The quality of this product is so poor and so bad that I am lost for words ...

I received only ONE book end as opposed to two which is what is outlined in the advertisement title. The quality of this product is so poor and so bad that I am lost for words with disappointment. I bought this for my new borns nursery and there is no way I can display this as it ruins the whole room.
