Very thin

I genuinely love mud river products but I don’t think they put their best effort into this. It’s pretty thin and doesn’t offer much protection for my hard charging boy. He crossed under a fence one day and a barb snagged the rear strap. Instead of tearing the strap the entire strap ripped off where it was sewn on. It works but there are better options out there for similar prices.

Great product but needs stronger straps

Great product that really works well for tough hunting conditions. However, the velcro doesn't stay in place when running through heavy cover so I have to safety pin the straps in place. Then it works like a charm. It's not too hot and still keeps the dog a little warmer in cold weather. The the manufacturer I would recommend heavy adjustable clips instead of velcro to keep it on.

Stitching came apart the 3rd time out.

The center strap was too short and velcro didn't hold once it was snow covered. Had to take it off. Same thing the second time out. I was going to look for a safety pin to hold it but the 3rd time out the stitching ripped out and the vest was destroyed. I was going to post a picture but I threw it away before I thought to take one.

Fits (dog) great, use it a lot!

Started using this vest at the beginning of fall. Fit is smart, light, dog likes it, does great for visibility in cover and protects from belly wear. Have other Mud River stuff, incl seat cover. Super ideas, super quality!

True to size

Purchased for my dog for hunting Size is perfect I have not had a chance to try it hunting yet

Warnings about Carcinogens in the product.

This came with warnings that it contains carcinogens recognized in California. There were no warnings in the product description on the amazon site. I would have never purchased it there were any warnings about carcinogens.

It didnt survive two hours of hunting. Completely ripped and fell apart in light brush, not even anything hardcore
