The best bear ever.

I would have given it a 5 star

Had the little bear had movable arms, and legs I think it would be a perfect five star, that said it is not. The purpose of the purchase was to use him to decorate an antique baby cradle I own. I wanted the bear to sit in the crib, not lie down. I ended up sewing the legs to the upper body to achieve that. More work than I wanted, but size wise and the look of the little guy is just what I was looking for! I’m not sorry I bought him.

GREAT STUFFED ANIMAL!

I purchased this for my 10 month old son and he adores it. It's the perfect size just for him and it's so adorable! I would definitely suggest purchasing this bear for your child!

Not what I thought

When looking at the bear on line it look amazing, but when I got it I really was not impressed. Since it was a Christmas gift I thought I would just keep it. For the amount it cost not really great just ok. All in all the bear was ok, but would not order again.

A miniature, miniature teddy bear

Nothing in the adoring description tells you that this stuffed toy is so VERY SMALL!! A two year old can hold it in one hand. I suppose I should have noticed the alternate use advertised for it—as a key ring ornament!!

Going to be a child's best friend

This is a gift for a newborn. Like all bears entrusted with young lives, they will become lifetime steadfast and loyal companions.

Cuddly

I bought two of these Steiff teddies for Christmas - one for a 1 year old and the other for a 2 year old. The girls seem to love them as they are small and very cuddly like a plush toy. But beware - I hadn't really appreciated how small 18cms is, so was disappointed when they arrived. So while they're probably a good size for small children they may not be so great for older ones. The other disappointing thing was the packaging - or lack of it. The teddies were in plastic bags (good idea while in a warehouse), so I had to find more suitable packaging (boxes) for presentation. I'm trusting Steiff to have produced something that's robust (my 29 year old still has his, which he was given at 1 year old), rather than just a collectors item - hence the 5 stars for durability. Only time will tell. I've marked "fun" and "educational" with 3 stars because a teddy probably doesn't deliver either of these in comparison to other toys. But it's a nice bear, well made and begs to be cuddled.

The meaning of Life

I literally can't see anything about this Bear that I don't like! And it's as lighter than a feather you literally wouldn't even know you had it! I would recommend this product and sum it up as out of sight up there with the stars! Thank's Guy's.

Beautiful

Bought this for my daughter who is going abroad for a year to study languages, great size for travel! He is so cute and I am sure will keep her company when feeling home sick. As usual it is made to a high standard and I hope she will have it for many years to come and maybe pass it on to one of her children and who knows it may become a collectors item of the future. Very pleased with it and with service from the seller. It is smallish but wanted that size to fit in her suitcase.
