Don’t order!

When the item arrived, I loved it. It is lovely, however, that’s where it ends. I overlooked the fact that it doesn’t have a “strike plate/surface”. Ordered matches… the openings on the glass are too small for the matches to be shook through. I attempted to remove the cork to retrieve the matches and it began crumbling! Tried and tried to grab the cork and long story short… it’s now crumbled and inside of the glass holder-with the matches. So disappointed.

Misleading Product Description

We've ordered this product twice neither shipment included the striker plate. Also, it's impossible to shake out a fireplace match. The only remedy is to remove the bottom plug every time you need a match.

Very disappointed.

No strike plate with either of the 2 that I was shipped. Holes too small for normal fireplace matches and holes are so far from middle that matches can't be shaken out.

No match striker at all!!! Second one I ordered.

This says it comes with “detached match striker”. It doesn’t. I ordered this one and a replacement, neither one came with the full contents. Please get your act together

It’s the best, but not for what you think.

I’ve been using this as a holder for incense sticks. I don’t know much about matches — but try to use it for incense sticks and I promise you, you'll be delighted!
