Fit without modification 2013 dodge caravan

Great product. Install is made about a simple as can be expected.

Works great so far and I don’t foresee any problems. This item was easy to install from the perspective of someone that is at least a bit of a handy DIY individual. To restate, for a hardwired unit that requires you to run the wires the length and breadth of the vehicle, it really can’t get any simpler. The tail light removal and product installation is very easy. While running the cable from the rear of the car, forward, is a bit more challenging. I found a video online detailing the installation of this exact kit and used that to help me run the cable forward (as it gives suggestions as to where the wire can be safely attached - the keys to this are staying away from places where pinching, sheering, friction and heat can be a problem). The whole install took about an hour and a half, which I feel is pretty good for the uninitiated.

Plug and play

Very easy install. Less than 45 minutes. Great directions. And vidio that takes you through process. To avoid any problems.

4 pin plug so need a 7 pin round adapter as most things currently are 7 pin.

Hooked up 2013 town and country trailer lights then used a 7 pin round adapter.

Left turn signal and brake lights donot work after install

I am writing this partly because I need some input from the manufacturer and can not find any contact info. The install is easy and I ran the power wire from the battery under the chassis and up to the unit and the wire tested good with 12+ volts. The ground tests good. With all plugs connected properly, the left turn signal and tail light do not work although the left brake light is good. The right side functions properly. when I unplug the left side and reconnect the original plug everything works, even the right side. I need some input from the manufacturer or I need to uninstall and return.

Good trailer wire kit

Installed this on a 2014 town and country with no problems. Ran the wires inside under the molding that cover the carpet at the drivers door. Box and connections I left in the jack/compressor compartment in the back along with the trailer wire itself and just run it out the lift gate when needed. Wire to passenger taillight I ran under van and secured it to the receiver hitch. Haven’t used it a whole lot yet but has worked great and is pretty handy.

Plug and play is the way to go

This was a great plug and go harness. It was very easy to install and had well written directions.
